(After software update tv stuck on opening screen) tv can only be turned off by unplugging it remote or side power button will not work.
Yes, this is true. ()Philips tv troubleshooting tutorial, It is in need of a firmware update. Here's is where you can get the firmware update and the instructions on how to flash. Probably have to directly connect you pc via USB on the back.

I upgraded the Firmware at the advisement of a tv notification. Once I did the tv goes into a power cycle to Phillips logo then restarts. How is this fixed? I am I to download new software to a thumb drive and insert it to the tv? The tv will then know to download this and fix the issue? Not information here on how to execute the software when the tv is stuck in a power cycle and useless. Please advise

Hi, I hope you can help me I do have Philips tv and tried to connect it to my laptop and it did work but after i unplugged the HDMI chord my tv stucked in 0 volume and no signal and wont let me to change it back to home settings and remote is not working as well. I dont know what's wrong i tried unplugging all the chords and put back after 10-20mins but still not working i really need your help. i hope you can help me fix it thankyou in advance

For days ive been Iooking on the internet for solutions to my philips android tv, i installed usb with wipedatatool, i tried to do update from usb with original firmware, i tried to reboot, i tried to find the wipe data in the bootloader but it isnt there (i even tried 1-2-x-4 method) i can only choose REBOOT NOW or UPDATE FROM EXTERNAL but when i choose one of those 2 options i get a black screen with android laid on its back and saying NO COMMAND. I cant acces the tv with ADB neither because the usb debugging wasnt enabled before i lost acces to the tv. Its a Philips 7600 series LED I dont know what to do anymore help!

Hi, I have the restarting problem with my Philips TV 55PUT6401/12. After upgrading to android 8 it happened and I did change the Android again by USB to the lower version 5. But, still it stuck on the android logo with an error "unfortunately TV storage has stopped". The installation page was coming automatically and now its not coming and I dont know how to go to that page. Do you have any Idea?

i bought a new philips model 55PUS8204/12
got an issue that after turning off the ps4 tge tv screen freeze and becomes black, tried sending signals to the tv through the remote control to turn off or to change the source or to go to the app menu but i didn't get any better.
had to unplug it from the power and plug it in again to start.
any reason for this problem?

My Philips PFL 55 is stuck in a bootloop. I can't do anything because I can't get around the damn bootloop. I've got a usb stick with the new software on it, but I can not access the usb stick because of the bootloop. I tried everything that I found on internet, but nothing is working. Does anyone here know how I can do a hard reset? Please don't tell me to go into a menu, because I can't. And don't tell me to unplug it and wait 5 or 10 minutes or update the software. I tried that too. I can't update anything because the damn tv keeps rebooting.
