You could also us SerpaDesign's tequnique where you carve the foam and then paint if with drylock tented with quikrete Liquid Cement Color.
haha you're a mind reader. Check out my pinned comment! I just got a foam cutter and I'm looking forward to trying it out! I've gotta practice more with foam. I used to use sanded grout on it, but it ends up peeling off eventually. I'll check out drylock

Well I guess this is good timing because I'm trying to figure out how to make hides/shelves and stuff for my garter snakes. I went to the dollar store and got temporary stuff so I could put them in a bigger enclosure. I'm still trying to figure out how I want to set them up. I just moved them today and I think they like it. They will like it even more when I get it set up how I want it.
I did find a clear plant hanger thingy and it's so cute but I don't know if they will sit in it. They like to climb on it so far...
Hey I would recommend making your rabbit enclosure bigger at least 8 feet by 8 feet. If you can't do that make sure your rabbits can have time outside of the pen at least for three hours a day. What I would do is bunny proof that whole entire room or a room and let them have that whole area with just a rug in the corner to be there home base.

Hi kristen! I really really love your videos and commitment to animals. I would absolutely love to be able to do what you do. I recently lost a sweet beardie of mine to what looks like atadenovirus. I was told by my vet that most reptiles actually are born or are given atadenovirus. Some animals can have the virus and live a long time but my vet told me that often it reduces a animals life to only two years. Shes seen over years the rapid decline in reptiles and beardies because of this virus. Its transmitted through saliva, poop, or through breeding from mom or dad. It is often transmitted when owners don't wash hands or use shared enclosures between animals. I immediately thought of you and all beautiful reptile babies you care for and just wanted to put it out there if you hadn't heard of the virus and how it can be transmitted. It leaves animals in so much pain and with so many complications. I don't want any of your babies to end up this way. My vet is able to run a test for only 50-100$ and that way you can isolate those who have it or just be mindful of the many medical complications that come from the virus. I hope that it hasn't infected your babies yet and I wish you so much blessings with them. Again I absolutely love your work and dedication.

Call me crazy, but I dont think that chemicals and animals should be anywhere near each other. In my opinion I think this was a pretty useless diy and you can definitely achieve the same result without the use of chemicals.
