They're poisonous in the wild because of their diet, but in captivity they are harmless because they do not have the chemicals needed to make the poison from their diet.
I just got my bioactive 18x18x18 done for my dart frogs! This just makes me even more excited for them! Love your videos girl!!
You may already be aware of this, but you might want to put a little more leaf litter to cover all the exposed dirt on the ground. They can get impacted since they will constantly be plucking fruit flies from it. đ

i never had luck with ordering live bugs. which always sucked, because local pet stores never had good bugs in stock. waking up to a mail call of live dubias was great, until you open the box to see that the container was not sealed or the lid was off or the container was destroyed and dubias were running all over inside the box

Hi Kristen!!! I just wanted to ask if I donât have any reptile shops where I live and I donât really feel super comfortable ordering a crested gecko off of a online reptile shop, would it be ok to get a crested gecko from petsmart as that is basically my only option??
Hey Alyssa! Believe it or not there are most likely quite a few crested geckos available for adoption near you, or you can find a breeder near you, OR maybe there's a reptile who coming soon? Petsmart is a place where I actually get a lot of items for my animals. I haven't purchased any animals from them and I don't know where they get their animals so I can't speak to that one way or another. But I would check out some of those options I talked about!

A lot of times any species of frogs are extremely sensitive and should be handled as little as possible. Or with gloves to protect them from the oils on your skin đ

You are so beautiful all the time and seriously love I want a frog but it is so hard to keep the humidity. And I live in Charlotte NC.
Awe thank you â€ïž what helps is a fogger, as well as a heat pad instead of a heat light above, and FULLY soak the soil. The soil never really dries out in here or in my other humid enclosures

How do you literally always blame companies for your shortcomings? If you arenât ready donât order, donât schedule. You did get notifications, because you tried to email saying not to. You were well aware of when they would be ther because you scheduled the date. Cmon dude.
I wish I can have dart frogs, but my family says NO! They just don't see them as pets, to them dogs and cats are pets but not frogs. My father says, you can't take a frog for a walk and what does a frog do? You can't pet it and they are really old school. They said I would have to wait until after they pass away. Don't get me wrong I still love them, but they are killjoys.

Can you please watch the channel âcatch âem all fishingâ and see if something can be done to get this man off of CZcams? He abuses animals all the time! Cutting legs off of axolotls to see them grow back, feed axolotls to catfishâŠ. So much more! Itâs sickening and I keep doing my best but he just keeps posting more and more.
