I love how lizards get so offended when you move them away from where they want to go. My beardie looks at me like I just crushed her soul when I move her while she's on the go. Such an adorable little guy!! I can't believe how big he has gotten already!!

My bearded dragon hates being outside I have a little leash he won't even walk around if I put him down he crawls back in my lap and wants me to hold him

Be careful with the leads. I bought the same brand for my beardie. She got spooked and ran so fast that the lead pulled on her neck/throat and she was having a hard time breathing for a few minutes. It literally knocked the wind out of her from whiplash. And this was after I bought her first lead... the first one broke and she nearly climbed halfway up a tree before I snatched her.
They really are dangerous. Wire or mesh cages are a much safer option!

I’m in the same boat as you. Just got a new beardie and he is so scared of me. He’s been with us a week, so I’m giving him another week until I force him to bond with me lol
Hip Pea a week is good so he’s at least comfortable with his cage! Is he a tiny baby? Not super usual for full grown bearded dragons to be scared of people! I’m surprised!

I can't wait to take Pubba out, his new (and much larger) harness just arrived! He grew out of his old one after a month and surpassed the second one I got him in a couple weeks lmao. I brought him out a few times without a harness, but after he got spooked by a passing car I decided we weren't doing that again (boy, do they run fast bipedally)!

I tried to take my bearded dragon outside... if you've ever put a leash on a cat who HATES leashes and then tried to take it outside and it just lays there looking pissed off... yeah, that's what my lizard did lol.
