- After Les Schwab tried to seat the bead with a Cheetah air tank and failed. I got a call to help the dude out. Air + Starting Fluid + Fire = SUCCESS!
#1 Mount narrow tires onto wide wheels. #2 place tire/wheel on ground and hook up air to valve stem. #3 spray starting fluid into tire for 3 seconds then immediately light with flame WHILE filling with air. BOOM! The pressure/small explosion expands and seals the bead of the tire onto the seating surface of the wheel. Continue filling with air until tire is fully stretched. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

That's how it's done.
I´m going to try this tomorrow,245/35 on 19x11" rims...hope it works,it looks easy :)
It is recommended to use a thick ratcheting strap around the thread of the tire for safety, just in case, good job tho! 👍
Question
Would you do 9hr Trip on a stretch like that ???
Im curious cuz im planning on doing 18x9.5 12offset on 215 40s
Martin acevedo NO problem. The MOST IMPORTANT thing is to always have a pressure gauge in your car. Check your pressure often. With low-profile tires it's very difficult to see when the tire is low on air. After you have the tires stretched, check your pressure once a week. If all 4 are holding the same pressure, then check at lease once a month after that. Lots of my customers have driven from Washington to California and back on aggressive stretched tires.
Martin acevedo Oh and keep between 45-50 psi in that amount of stretch.
Ok thanks for the info man
