Iâm 64yrs old and 235lbs. I just had a very mild diabetic stroke, two weeks ago. I started a carnivore diet at the beginning of this week. I canât wait to see the results.
Youâve come to the right place! Youâre in good company with the carnivore community! đđŒđȘđŒđȘđŒ
Praying for your healing. I'm 60 and T2D. Been carnivore for 5 months but have gained 5 pounds. I'm so worried. đą
@@karenok464 Karen - Please closely examine EXACTLY what you are eating other than beef, butter, bacon and eggs? Diet soda? Artificial sweeteners? Milk? Cheese? Any of those can cause metabolic issues/weight stalls. Also, have you had any blood lab work done recently? I strongly suggest Dr. Berry's "Common Sense Labs" so you know what specific labs to request from your doctor. Carnivore doctors and others remind us that we are not immune from other diseases just because we're carnivore, but we can go a LONG WAY to maximizing our health by sticking with the Proper Human Diet, regardless! Don't give up, just get better information about your body and metabolism! Remember - BEEF, BUTTER, BACON AND EGGS - and water or mineral water only! I bet when you look closely at what you're eating and drinking, you'll find a clue, and maybe a solution! đ
â@@karenok464Karen, what exactly are you eating?? There must be something there your body doesnt want. Are you eating enough fat??
@@karenok464 I love the power of prayer and you will be in mine.
I was dianosed with A-FIb and moderate arterial disease early this year, and NOT once has any nurse or consulatant mentioned my diet, NOT ONCE! I am obviously overweight. I am so angry with the health system in the UK. I have taken myself off 3 of the half a dozen meds they gave me, which made me feel worse, including statins. I am on week 3 of the carnivore diet and feel I have more energy now than in the last 7 years.
Omg, I am so happy for you. Glad you are feeling better. Bastards did that to me too. They put me on a beta blocker that had me like a zombie for 2 years!! It was awful. I'm odd all meds except my inhaler.
@justsuzy321 Thanks. I am also on a beta blocker. I plan to take myself off it for a week to see how I improve.
I am also angry with the NHS - for 40+ years they have kept me sick. Why do we not walk into a doctors surgery - and they have the product Kellogs cereal - with a sign of teaspoons of sugar - for the Lay public. Dr David Unwin has been trying to change this for 20 + years - but he is ignored and the pictures of food and sugar - he has had to retract. Listen to him on you tube interviews. So much for doctors being intelligent humans they are just indoctrinated.
Just got out of Costco and noticed an older man (70s) with a cart full of meat, eggs and cheese at checkout. He was looking at everyone's carts. I did everything not to be nosy. Finally I went up to him and asked if he was a carnivore. He said yes and ignored me. Didnt want to talk to me. So sad. đź I said beef butter bacon & eggs. HOMESTEAD HOW and Dr. BERRY! He smiled but wouldnt look at me so I walked away with my carnivore cart.
It is amazing the sugary crap in people's carts and old people are just loaded with sugar! I always notice because I have meat, eggs and butter in my cart!
Maybe he was concerned about previous abuse and has decided to avoid confrontation. Maybe if you had commented differently he may have been open to conversation.
@@gloriaharbridge4986 maybe. He was checking out. I wanted to hug him lol!
I used to be very similar. I just didn't like talking to people. I had personal stuff going on.
I'm sure he was having a bad day, having a bad year. Sometimes, you may know, it's so hard to reach back out when you're in the middle of something and someone approaches you. You were great. You were friendly. He needed that, even if you didn't get a chat. Well done.
Just ordered Danielâs book. In Nov 2016 my husband had a stress test and passed. Two weeks later, day after Thanksgiving, he died of a heart attack at work. He was 56 years old.
I am truly so sorry for your loss. So devasting! My new motto is, when we know better, we do better!" He didn't know, however now you do and can thrive đȘđȘđȘ
@@journeytohealthafter60 I agree. I started my carnivore journey on June 19, 2022, which was Fatherâs Day. Iâm 64 and definitely feeling better than I have in a very long time.
â€
Sorry to hear. Glad I was able to survive my heart attack in order to warn others. Big hugs.

Your at 81 enjoy life ! No need to do treatments that could drastically make you feel worse . I would be feel blessed to make it to 81! Given how much the medical and food industry is trying to kill people
Prayers for you! My dad is your age and he has cancer too. Iâm trying to get him to do dietary changes too. Best wishes to you! God bless!
Have you listened to Dr. Seyfried? He has a metabolic approach to cancer.
Praying for your healing. đ

Hello, keep up the good fight. I like so many others started the proper human lifestyle 30 days ago. This week I gave into the peer pressure. Sometimes words are not enough so I gave in and showed my wife with actual proof. She has been 100 percent against what I'm doing to get healthy. The same argument from her side, "your gonna have a heart attack, stroke, high cholesterol, you have to eat fruit and veggies that's what the doctors and experts say". I gave in and and ate some fruit and a few non alcohol beverages. Total carbs each day for 2 days in a row was 70g. Yesterday she asked me what is wrong because I was in a bad mood she hadn't seen in a few weeks. I told her I was having mild joint and muscle pain and gut discomfort. Her response was why. I replied that I tried her advice and ate some fruit and now I feel like crap. She hasn't mentioned fruit and veg for 2 days now. I showed her how proper human diet had changed me somewhat and she reinforced the fact that we as modern humans have been indoctrinated into a socially accepted addiction. I was amazed that just a little bit of sugar made such a huge difference in how I felt. The good take is I know my carb level and I won't go there again. It is kind of crazy in hindsight that I lived in pain, obese, foggy brain, and many other issues for so many years thinking this was just normal aging and genetics.
đźKerry you are looking younger every day. Itâs just amazing!!
This explains why this 100 lb lady could eat almost an entire box of spaghetti all by myself and still feel like snacking afterwards. I never had a sweet tooth, but I definitely had a wheat tooth!
Me too. I have to abstain completely otherwise I can eat the spaghetti, a loaf of sourdough bread with butter, a couple of pints of ice cream, etc. And still have room for more - as long as it is a carb.
8 Months on Carnivore. Lost 70 lbs.
Way to go, Rock!
You are an inspiration to us all. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see your movie. 20 years of military service and my whole body was a mess. TBI, PTSD, bad knees, bad back, pre diabetic, over 200 allergies after returning from Afghanistan, the VA had me on pain pills, knee and back injections, allergy shots, muscle relaxers, statins, antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, mood stabilizers, and stimulants. 8 months carnivore and I no longer take any medications and feel better than I have in well over 10 years. 60lbs down so far, and I no longer fall down randomly from my TBI, bloodwork in the top range in every area even cholesterol which is 320. The VA doctor said go ahead you can't maintain this diet. I say it's not a diet it's a way of life and I will prove to him it is maintainable.
78, Carnivore now over a year. Just had my Toprol XL heart med reduced by 75%.
Thanks Kerry for bringing this book and author to our attention. I just bought his book and wish I knew how to give one to my daughter without offending her. She is eating herself to death and causing my 2 granddaughters to go down the same path. She just told me they are back to vegan which means processed death in a box with steamed rice. God help them.
One other factor, apart from nutrition, (re modern lifestyle & associated disease) that shouldnât be forgotten is our growing dependence on motorised transport. So many of our ancestors walked daily, routinelyâŠsometimes big distances. This shouldnât be forgotten.
In Europe and many other countries around the world, they still do. Lots of bicycling, too!
@@lf7065 But that very much depends on the individual. Ironically the poorer, less educated folk (often doing manual jobs) are often the ones who drive everywhere nowadays! Once upon a time there wasnât this option.
This is an awesome book! We just finished reading it in a book club! I have to go back through it again because there are so many great nuggets! Currently using a lot of info from it for a presentation I am writing to give in June.
I'm reading his book NOW! I'm in chapter 22
I did an NMR with fasting insulin test 9 months ago and my fasting insulin was 78! I took it to my doctor and he said I was fine!!! I know I was either diabetic or pre at least. Unreal how we are ignored from our actual symptoms. 8 1/2 months carnivore and feel a zillion times better. I am retesting soon.
Physicians dont know
That's why the pharmaceutical companies now say; ask your "prescriber"
78??? Really? Typo maybe? 24 is considered high.
Time to find a new, more educated doctor. Your health is on the line!
@@BillyBoy66no typo

Great interview Kerry, and thanks for interviewing on Kerryâs channel Daniel! âșïž
I have his book, great book and great interview. We need more books like this to teach everyone that plant based whole foods and plant based processed foods cause all the health issues people are having around the world. Everyone needs to go carnivore!
It should be installed as a text book for Health Class in our schools.
@@sheilam4964 agreed! Teachers need to add this in medical school and earlier grades!!
Excellent interview Kerry! Another powerful fact-filled lesson in the propaganda vs reality of what humans should be (and should have been) consuming. Thanks to Daniel
Trevor for learning, researching and providing the extensive knowledge. So glad your personal story with a transformational lesson that caused you to pivot and do a deep dive is now (like Kerry's) transforming lives when people are armed with facts and truth. Kudos!!
Starting my carnivore diet today, super excited to see what happens!
For the last 2 months I have not been able to run 0.38 miles without my lower back just taking over and forcing me to stop . The pain was unbearable no matter how much I adjusted my posture and stretched . I was running a 15 min mile . 1 week on the carnivore diet and I just ran a 11 minute mile with NO LOWER PAIN !!! Itâs either a fluke or this carnivore diet is the truth ! Either way Iâm going to chalk this one up to the Carnivore diet Iâm really gonna get my highschool self back !! Thanks for your videos Iâm glad I found your channel !
Yet another exceptional, eye-opening guest! So glad to see more passion and commitment from another self-educated, well-read carnivore. The Carnivore snowball continues to grow daily! Keep it up, brother!
Thx guys for this get together, filming it and sharing it with us.

49 year old female here. I did not pass my stress test. My family doctor told me to take my 5mg blood pressure medication. To control my blood pressure during my stress test. I chose not to take it because I wanted to find out what was going on. The cardiac doctor said my blood pressure went to 170/94 on the treadmill @3.5 mph. Then, she prescribed me 25mg blood pressure medication and said if I don't take it and lose weight. My heart could enlarge in ten years, and I will have a heart attack and die. Mostly carnivore now with less salt and gave up cream and sweets 3 weeks ago. I do not want to be on medication for the rest of my life đą

Cause of death: heart attack
Suffered heart failure 4 months ago, started carnivore a month ago, but included WeetBix wheat cereal and realized varicose veins would not go away unless I stop this wheat cereal addiction after watching this video today. Hopefully I will get off the medication even though I am not swallowing them at home where the doctor is not with you at home. I am 60 with an active walking casual job, taping advertising flyers for curtains and blinds on temporary fences for new houses under construction in Melbourne Southeast in Australia
Yup! I followed Dr. William Davisâ âThe Wheat Belly Dietâ for several years and still carry that wheat lesson with me to this day.
Kerry my hero strikes again, when are you coming to New York. Love you brother
Oh wow SUCH a fantastic interview, I will be getting Danielâs book!

Thank you for this videoâŠ.my friends son NEEDED TO HEAR THIS!
I use to work in an ER and many times people having heart attacks recently just had a stress test. I think stress tests should only be done at the hospital in case there is a code.
I am starting to notice in comments that is not uncommon to have an attack after stress testing. Totally agree with you!

Can't find David's interview with Dr. Berg here on CZcams. Was this broadcast elsewhere?
I (Daniel) did an interview with Ken Berry, not Berg. I posted it on my site as well.
69 years old. Carnivore for 10 months now. Year and a half ago had 3 stents placed in my heart arteries. They were blocked with soft plaque. My CAC score was 2. I am now metabolically healthy, but my LDL is high. I can't find ANY info out there to tell me if I should or shouldn't be eating CV. Is it safe for me ?
Carnivore is a proper human way of eating. It is safe for you if you are human.
It the triglycerides and HDL numbers you need to look at. Triglycerides divided by HDL should equal less than one. Triglycerides are an inflammation marker. People with the highest LDL live the longest. Watch videos from Paul Mason and David Diamond on cholesterol.

Brings to mind David Letterman many many years ago he had a cardiac event & he was always tall and thin. Had a quadruple bypass. Blamed it on butter lol đ Iâm 6â 2â in my 60âs 235 pounds and my weight is not going up or down after 3 months on carnivore. Not sure why, but probably because of the fat consumption ? Full transparency I still eat a few pieces of Hersheyâs chocolate daily. I just canât seem to give up chocolate but other than that Iâm 95% just animal products, ribeye steaks 80/20 ground beef, butter, eggs, and pork rinds. my whole goal is to reverse type two diabetes with lowered A1c.
About 24 years ago David Letterman was 52, a tall slim guy he found out he had a total cholesterol of about 650 mg/dL and then had to get quintuple bypass surgery. He did not blame it on butter but on genetics, just like BB KIng was 89 and still giving concerts even though he was an overweight type 2 diabetic for over 30 years.
@@StanDupp6371 except he did blame it on butter. I heard him say it when he came back after his recovery. But yes, genetics can definitely play a role.
@@CarnivoreguyScott He was joking as he is a comedian. With a BMI of 22 David Letterman is not eating that much butter or high fat foods.

You're right in that they do believe in all that and I cover it in Chapter 4. She didn't get any of that - they don't' push it on the students or staff. She enjoys her steak!
@@DanielTrevorOnline What results did you get on the CIMT test? Also did you get test results for MPO, ADMA, Lp-PLA2, OxLDL and Insulin intact?
@@DanielTrevorOnline You made a claim that you had a heart problem caused by Insulin but how do you know it might have been genetics or a high level of Lipoprotein(a) or some other reason?
@@Jeffs60 Hey Jeff, I do have vascular disease in my genetics big time but, as covered on Page 1 of Chapter 1, genetics loads the gun but lifestyle pulls the trigger ⊠or keeps the safety on. Examples given there. I cover Lp(a) in Chapter 26 and give several studies about that. One found that LOW, not high, levels of Lp(a) was a significant factor in all-cause mortality. Another looked at centenarians who had HIGH Lp(a) and it was âcompatible with longevity.â And another showed that Lp(a) was a danger only if you were insulin resistant. Check it out. Surprised me too. As I told Kerry, none of the book is my opinion or a âclaimâ as you call it. Carefully read Chapter 1 to find out the dangers of hyperinsulinemia, insulin resistance and the resultant inflammation, which leads to all the major silent diseases. And yes, I cover MPO, Lp-PLA2, OxLDL, MACR, F2 Isoprostanes and many others I call âsmoke detectorsâ in the book. Hope this helps.
She got her medical training there but is now working in another ER. They don't push that vegetarian stuff to the students and she didn't get any of that. I cover the Adventists in chapter 4. My daughter loves her steak!
