Be great if you follow up with satisfaction. I have an older Camry. Considering the Encore GX 1.3L too. GM/S.Korea Daewoo plant building cars that compete with other Japanese and S. Korea cars in quality. Sharp subcompact suv.

Excellent review on the Encore GX. Good job on the Restyle. I agree I don't like the CVT either. GM is using the 6 speed automatic in the Trax & Envista w the 1.2 Ecotec. It seems to be a better means of more responsive driving.

The new grill is definitely better looking - sportier, less "old fogey". With the new Envista the only Encore trim worth getting now is the 1.3 with AWD since the Envista is cheaper and better looking if you're going for just FWD.

Encore turbo is cool. So as it rides
    Smooth and quiet.
But many buys Lexus instead with. With couple thousand more

What you missed and is easily missed is the configurable dash display enabled by holding down the right steering wheel roller button. Why GM buried that, well, I’m sure bean counters were involved.

I went from Jeep Wrangler to the 2023 Avenier. I love it but sure do miss the high ride of the Jeep. I went from the Avalanche to the Jeep. It is weird driving a small car. I am 78 so I had to get easier to get into.

GM should add LED interior lighting @ Shark 🦈 fin antenna to models that need this update.
Leaning towards a Preferred trim level, in Ocean Blue w power tailgate.

Actually the dealership just gave me a loaner 2024 gx while my 2021 trailblazer is getting worked done and I was shocked. My trailblazer is so much more comfortable. I have the upgraded leather like material package on my trailblazer and it's so soft and cushy. There is also alot more legroom in my trailblazer. My back is killing me from sitting in the back of the gx for an hour while the hour there my trailblazer didn't hurt my back at all. What happened to buick being more luxurious? It's literally alot like my trailblazer.

How does one go from 700+ HP to roughly a buck and quarter. Without feeling a little dissatisfied.

Lol.. You have to take a step back and realize what the cars true purpose is

  • @chadmark88

I'd bet it would get in the low 30's MPG on the highway in "real world" driving - there isn't much weight there, or much horsepower, either.
