You did an excellent job of describing this 2024 Encore GX sports touring package. Just bought mine the other day. Color is ocean blue metallic with the black and gray interior. Thanks so much for helping me understand all the bells and whistles in this snazzy SUV
FYI. Front seats unusually narrow on the GX.

Both the Encore GX and Envista have narrow front seats to where it makes the car not worth buying.
The Encore is nice like to see the Enclave

We just bought a 2024 Buick Encore GX preferred with power liftgate and comfort package a couple of weeks ago, overall happy , like you said, I don't like hell the radio is trying to reach the volume, etc. as a passenger, we had a Toyota RAV4, and I miss having the physical buttons, for going to home screen, maps, settings etc.

@@703Speed thank you, I hope the miles per gallon is better than what it keep showing on the display, the sticker did say 29/31, 30 combined, I have seen the display say anywhere from 22, 25, up to 31.7, thought it would have stayed around 29 at the minimum

I am not a Buick fan but I admit to liking the exterior and what you get for the MSRP. Adding additional packages makes it less desirable than some of the competition.

Ya, the 3 cylinder is interesting
Need 4 cylinder naturally aspirated....no turbo
This and the Envista is on my short list ,but in this color thanks for telling me the color ,other reviews has not mention the color my area doesn't get this refresh to around December 3:32
I'm presuming this is made in the U.S. and if so nobody could say that American made cars lack excellent fit and finish compared to foreign cars like they used to.
Unfortunately it's made by GM in South Korea 😢😢 Along with the Envista, Trax & Trailblazer.
@@davestadt49 Well that explains the quality fit and finish , American made cars are viewed and seen worldwide as unreliable low quality autos .
America really doesn't make cars anymore.
I did notice on the window sticker the transmission and engine are made in the U.S.
Great review man! Test drove an Encore GX honestly it’s fantastic! But for me it felt just a little bit too heavy. So ended up going with it’s cousin the Chevrolet Trailblazer
The ST comes with 1.3L compared to the 1.2L on the preferred

Does anyone know if the 1.3 engine has a wet belt timing belt like GM’s 1.2 engine has?
Hoping the 2025 is a little longer to match other vehicles in this range and then I will buy 😂

By today's standards the MPG ratings are crappy.
Front seats too narrow.
All that piano black plastic on the exterior is a joke. It'll scratch like crazy from anything kicked up off the road. There's a reason most people don't like it on the interior, never mind the exterior!
I think it's overpriced for less features.
