Texas is pretty huge homie I don't know if you've ever check the Facebook groups I'm a member of about 12 to 15 different DSM style groups regarding to Mitsubishi Hyundais and stuff around the area of the 4g63 turbo I would start talking to groups in your area all car types and then go from there you can expand your limitations from Japanese on to other people cultures and things people like
