      Argument from authority is a pretty poor argument. But since you like it - I am also a chef, and a good one too, if I say so my self. Kevin made a simple critic that is pretty understandable if you know anything about food, and I kind of agree with him. However, that does not mean that Ripert's croque monsieur wouldn't be tasty, because I can guarantee you it is.

      +ztrinx1 It surely is, I can just see the insanity of paying what you will for that croque monsieur because its at minimum a 40$ meal partially because of who and where its prepared and partially because of the caviar. Great but ultimately opulent

    I love it ,love it, love it .Little remark You have to toste bred before you speed butter .Caviar losing quality when you tost bread with Caviar on. I can proof that.

    The caption says half an inch thick at 0:31. That seems pretty inaccurate.

    Who the halfwit that wrote "Slice salmon half an inch thick". Half an inch is more than 1 centimeter and he's doing 1-2 milimeters cuts. That's almost ten times the amount of salmon.

      +Kavryel He's trying to say 1 - 2mm but it looks more like he's cutting it 5mm. I know that's still way less than half an inch but... just saying.

      I think it's definitely more then 1 perhaps two, but half a centimeter is thicker than this.

      Kavriel I think they meant when you get the cut from the fish. So like when he laid it down, it was between 1 and 2 inches tall.

    I am vegetarian but there is vegan fish and caviar. If I own a resturant I might take the caviar out since its very expensive and if I am vegan and I have to make it that will be hard. this was a amazing dish
