Thank you! You have some impressive Sekiro content, one of my favorite Fromsoftware titles. This was early on in my play-through, so I appreciate the positive feedback even though my knowledge of GOWR combat was limited. Check out my recent upload!
If the Stone Wall shield is fully red and a yellow ring attack doesn’t break the shield, it means the block was timed perfectly. If I was using the Dauntless or Guardian shield in that moment you’d see the parry animation
Since I was using the Stonewall shield there isn’t a parrying animation, so it appears as though I’m only blocking the attack but in reality I still had to time my blocks
In this video it was a pure Undying Pyres build attained from the Muspelheim trials. Every piece of armor, weapon attachment, shield rond and most of the enchantments contributed to the building of/damage of permafrost, immolation, or maelstrom. I’ll call this PIM for future reference. Starting with the shoulder guard, this piece of armor prevents the gauge of PIM from being reset upon taking damage. I later switched it out for the Berserker Cuirass as it strengthens melee attacks during relic usage, which makes sense since I was attempting to beat majority of the side bosses without taking damage so the Undying Pyres Shoulder Guard wouldn’t be applicable. The Undying Pyres Bracers and Girdle allow PIM to be built up 30% faster. Each weapon attachment causes a realm shift upon activation of PIM, which allows more hits to potentially be landed. The shield attachment builds up PIM upon blocking or parrying. I typically used the Stone Wall Shield since it was easier to block with. For enchantments, the first set used was the Muspelheim set which boosts melee damage when the PIM meter is full. The second set used was the Alfheim set which empower Kratos’ next attack after a last second dodge, since I do a lot of one step dodges it was applicable to the build. The Jotunheim set would also work too since it increases maximum rage to use Wrath or Fury. The last 3 enchantments were individual perks; Kinetic Resilience: combo finishers provide an extra charge of PIM Emblem of the Nine Realms: Increase Melee damage during Realm Shifts. Attuned Relic Gem: Increases damage of Runic Attacks when PIM is fully charged Finally, the relic used was the Hilt of Hofud which creates a realm shift. Since the Berserker Cuirass was equipped, using melee attacks would be the most optimal for damage but this ability can be used in a variation of ways depending on the flow of the battle. Hope you found this helpful!

Amazing game play🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!
How the hell are you blocking yellow rings like that?
Since I was using the Stonewall shield there isn’t a parrying animation, so it appears as though I’m only blocking the attack but in reality I still had to time my blocks
What is that kind of dodge how to do it
I’m doing the single step dodge, so simply pressing X once in whatever direction. As opposed to the roll, which is a double tap in whatever direction
NIce vid! Care to share your build? Thx!
