Fantastic editing & overall quality & humor!

What a great working environment.. just subscribed!
My day as a senior software engineer (Backend): Hanging around in mostly useless meetings, answering questions from project managers and customers in several chats, hanging around in workshops discussing processes and structures (of the company I work for). I don't write a single line of code any more.
Moneyz?
The only thing i like about this video is : He stole that food for FREE!

How do you steal something "for free." As opposed to paying to steal it?

The sunset on that say is at 8:06 PM. The reason- 1.The subtropical season there is summer, 2.and They are in DST.
it looks like he spends most of times for eating, chilling and some time for work but i think how hard he's lived and studied for his life to get these kinda dream jobs
i couldn't say that these office and the cool building is all a person needs, before 1 year i always want to live these live now i live it and believe me , its not what it looks like in the videos

@@valyo82 really how
@@Crutoiful what do you mean by how
@@valyo82 why it's not like it looks in that kind of videos. is the life of a software engineer much hardeR?
Omg the things you did in 1 day I haven’t done in years 🤣
The thing is he should have put in the title expectations and then make another video and put reality becouse beeing a programmer is not just jokeing around is hard you dont have that much time to do what you want you have to wake up at 5 and go to sleep at 00:30 mid night
@@maliqgashi8543 Tf are you talking about? I've been a developer for 5 years. I waltz into work at 10am and am gone by 5pm every day. My job isn't easy, but it's certainly not ridiculously hard. There's far more developer positions outside of Silicon Valley.
@@TobySimone yeah it all just depends on what company you work for it seems.
@@TobySimone well didnt say that there is no other developer positions but if you want to be paid you'll have to work quit more and harder. And sometimes people don't find jobs near them so they have to go I don't know how many miles(or kilometers) away to work every day. You'r only looking at the job and how many hours you work there but i garante you that you'll have to work at home 50% of the time to finish some project if you want to keep that job cus you can be replaced pretty easily these days
@@maliqgashi8543 I've been in the industry for many years now and have never had to work from home to finish a project. I work 8 hours a day and that's it. I'm paid pretty good for my area and age as well. You can't base your entire view of the industry on silicon valley.
It would be nice to give us an overview of the additional perks given to salesforce employees if possible.
Love watching this type of videos!
There is no day in software engineer's life it's night.
Bro, record me real quick making a turn around this corner.

can you show us a detailed video of your work setup including how they did the cabling on a standing desk?

I remember going on a salesforce tour for my school once. It’s was a super fun and different environment then a lot of other companies I’ve seen
Yup super dope company!
Oh, I should try the study session. Nice video 👍
Hey I have a question and please answer me because I'm very confused 🤷♀️ This year I'm going to study software engineering and I don't really know what device should I get for my journey with software and programming could you please suggest the best one for me I need a device which can handle four years of studying programming and more 🤷♀️

I actually would like to do this when I’m older. I’m gonna start working on it.

Thanks! 🙏🙏
I'm thinking of withdrawing from college to get an ASTQB Certification to give me a head start on the career climb. Do you think a degree is necessary to progress a cs career? Or are there any other methods?
I just love the editing
I work at sales force!! This is really crazy to see. Right on
That's awesome!
What does Salesforce do ?
What I'd do to live a 20 minute walk away from work.
It feels like you live at work.

New subscriber. I live east bay never thought how busy software engineers life where 😳
I have a question..is software Engineering and Computer Engineering are the same? Right? Cause i dont have any idea at all
Are you a Android dev?
Naw I was using IntelliJ for my IDE which is like Android Studio
At 6:26 you are watching Jonah on youtube, nice, a Vlog Squad fan I see!

what are you studying/ how do you know what you need to be studying to stay up to date/improve your coding abilities??? (someone considering CS Major here)

Great videos. What model of macbook pro do programmers usually prefer? 15 or the 13?
Did he code/debug for about only 3 hours? :o
I guess it's way less time because he is an intern. Pretty chill overall, I love it.

Okay so I’m interested in this, I’m in 9th grade almost about to be half the semester, I took intro to programming 8th grade my first semester, what classes do I need to take to get into this, plz anyone comment below, thanks!
Depends, if your school has programming classes talk to your counselor about those. In my opinion try online learning sites like codecademy. Graduate with a good gpa go to college and major in computer science.

well start fucking going to college then
The core way of His ways is you must be born in a rich family. Or else go working and saving first!
I mean am not going to lie but your day looks just chill, no pressure and you get a lot of free time during the work in my opinion
which part did you replace to edit this video

lol damn maybe i should have been an engineer. seems pretty chill. free snacks and food. sleep late and wake up at 8ish. i work in the building trades so i wake up 5am everyday. go to work with clean clothes and come home dirty.

Nice, a whole three hours of work.
That weather is like a 3 in 10 being that sunny😂 I live in SF. TOO MUCH TRAFFIC
Serious question. Is it really like this at the office? I'm debating if I should continue learning code.
Jerry Lor look at the benefits google gives there employees. That’s all you gotta know.
I seriously want to have a life just like you, working as a software engineer in San Francisco is my dream. Watching this video put the biggest smile on my face and made me say, “if I work just a little harder, I know I’ll accomplish my dream of becoming a software engineer.” I honestly love your channel. ❤️😁
You got this! And thank you
Working at these places gotta be so bs sitting there all day staring at the screen!!
"Question life"
LOL...love it
Yeah it’s mostly doing designs and small backend or fronted tweaks your lead asks you to work on, then it never actually gets published lol
Are the foods you were grabbing for free? 😂 must feel good
Fun! My brother-in-law is a software engineer too. I was so worried he was overworked. Thanks for clearing that up 😂
Seriously, though, I work from home myself and maybe do 3 hours of REAL work a day, but am still a leader in productivity... our modern world in a nutshell.
Really depends on where you work for I think, and of course depending on your productivity during that period. Just like some people get things done in a shorter time than other people in 8 hour coding rampage. Personally I code for about ~4 - 5 hours a day on a full 8 hour working day and the rest of the 3 ~ 4 hours are split between morning&afternoon breaks and meetings or talks with coworkers about certain plans or problems usually
what company did you work for? Im going to uber next summer and they have an office in SF but there is one in palo alto as well and idk which one to pick :(
What was the most impressive was that in twenty minutes he went from asleep to work.
