Today I illustrate the process of changing the piston rings on a Suzuki Intruder VS1400 / Boulevard S83. It is of paramount importance that you take your time with this particular job. There is a lot to be aware of and allowing your level of anxiety or stress to get the better of you in this moment can be a risky game indeed.

This is the biggest project I have taken on, The bike will be completely stripped down to the frame, the engine will be removed for new piston rings to be installed, the wiring harness is going to be rewired and the entire bike overhauled, ready for spring 2020....I hope.

Do you know the original pistón diameter, or the original cylinder diameter ?
In the service manual i find the minimum size but not the real size.
Cause i have to change the rings but i don't know if the OEM parts are for my pistons.
it's possible that mine are a little bigger then originales.
