Local businesses are being driven out by bigger companies. The growth in the last couple of years has caused the crime/ drug rate to sky rocket.

I’ve been here 25 years. In that time Dawsonville has turned from a beautiful north Georgia town into an ugly industrial area. Taxes have tripled in the years I’ve lived here but the town of Dawsonville has offered nothing for those increases.

Well it's all interesting what you're talkin about but in no time Dawsonville will look like Atlanta, it starting to look like it already, because of everybody moving here it will end up to be the same problem and traffic is already a problem, it's not slow or no traffic, it is a big problem here already for small town. Most locals hate it. I have never heard the ambulance and police driving down 53/400 so many times like right now for all these people that are moving here right now this place is very congested very expensive and the prices of taxes are almost out of this world because of everybody moving here, building the cracker boxes and taking down the trees, taking away the beauty of Dawsonville that it once was not anymore.😢 Dawsonville is ruined! Most people that live here or have lived here for a long time can't afford to live here anymore!
