      As someone who as family in Lexington, while we don't have a Zesto (if you don't know, check it out!), I would say Gainesville is better. If you DO decide on Lexington, I have a fantastic agent to recommend who will take great care of you. Thank you for watching!

      They only show the areas that are upscale and ask to see the other side of the tracks.

      Having visited many other states, I agree! The highways/exit ramps are much prettier here too.

    Great overview. How’s public transportation? Or is it a car-only town? Are there any biker friendly locations in or around Atlanta?

    • @MovingtoGeorgia
      @MovingtoGeorgia  Před rokem +1

      Thank you for watching! There is very limited public transportation and limited biking. You definitely need a car!

    We live in Valdosta and want to move north of Atlanta. We need a place with job opportunities, good schools and entertainment. My husband and I live to camp, hike and travel the countryside. We don't want to be in the city. I'd love your input. There will be 2 households moving.

    She does a great job in promoting Gainesville Ga. Just understand there is the other side of the track or the poor minority area.

      Growth also NEEDS to happen, especially in upcoming/popular areas. Where I live, it's becoming increasingly popular. Because they do not build new homes (when they do its multi million dollar mansions), it drives the prices up because there are thousands of people who want to buy a home and yet there are only a few decent ones for sale/in the average persons price range. Now, because of the prices rapidly rising, its also very hard for younger people and families to afford even a 2 bedroom house that's 60 years old, and on top of that the banks or whatever you may call it, make it very very difficult to get approved, even if the mortgage is $2,000 monthly and you make $10,000 monthly. So, yes, development with growing population is a very big deal, and may help slow down the rise in housing costs and hopefully make it so most people who need a home can purchase one whether it be a house, condo, townhome, duplex etc.

    Gainesville is a sh** hole, so much crime and the police harass you. And I grew up in that place I actually put in the windows on the building in the square that connects to the car port. On 5:02 you can see the building behind her, and now there is too much people there and every house there even in the bad areas are way too expensive.
