Because of all the facts of the case being left out, and just now being known, I have to say that Miss Karen Read seems innocent.
Some of the people (that were questioned on the stand) seemed helpful and sincere; some seemed like they were confused, or unwilling to be forthcoming.

I was thinking of this exact thing earlier and I actually started crying. I represent police officers and they are so loyal to each other. It's so moving to me how they have each other's backs. I'm not saying police officers are perfect because no one is. But the good ones really take the oath to protect and serve seriously and they all know that they all take that oath with the knowledge that they could end up making the ultimate sacrifice. I get that John Okeefe didn't die in the line of duty, but as an officer who died young and under suspicious circumstances, it makes me so sad that it was officers who dropped the ball on the investigation. It makes me sad that Brian Albert would refer to John's death on his front lawn as "the incident" when he refers to the officer in NYC whose funeral he went to as "the officer who was murdered". I'm not saying that means Brian Albert did anything to him. But to distance like that with a fellow officer makes me very sad.

There was no reason for her to get nervous there if she was telling the truth. But she was afraid that she had slipped up somehow and that’s when she came out and said Colin wasn’t there when John was there which isn’t completely a guilty statement technically because we all know now that John was at least out on the front lawn and that Colin was there at some point. but if there was no significance because he was innocent, then why did she get all flustered and say it like she said it?

Even so, I want to know how she manages to back into him when doing so would position her SUV across both lanes in full view of all front-facing windows at the house. She would have had to have backed up fairly quickly toward the house from the street but stop short of entering the lawn because no tracks are found.
So Ryan Nagel and his ex-girlfriend, Heather Maxon, testified that they both saw this black SUV parked in front of the house, both testifying that they did not see anyone exit the vehicle and neither saw a body on the ground near the vehicle. Neither testified to witnessing the vehicle perform a maneuver as described above that would be required to hit and subsequently throw a body across the lawn toward the flag pole where it was found. One witness, however, Heather Maxon, testified to observing the black SUV driving off but, again, not seeing a body in the lawn after it left.
Ryan Nagel, however, offered up an interesting story about observing the SUV moving forward at one point... with its brake lights on. Ironically, despite the damage to the taillight that the Prosecution claims occurred that evening, Ryan Nagel did not observe damage to the taillight despite the fact that it would have been completely obvious if there was unfiltered white light beaming through a busted red taillight lens.
Between what they saw and what they did not see, coupled with Allison McCabe's Freudian Slip about John being in the house that night despite everyone else saying they never saw him, it all kind of stinks of reasonable doubt at best.
But hold on while we rehome the beloved family dog we've had for 7 years, sell the family home and move to a different city because that's what a family does on a whim, not at all because the fam is trying to dump evidence.

Pieces of shirt that may or may not have been in contact with the aforementioned wounds. :D
