Rufus Hussy said some very similar things. At one point in a video I saw he said it didn't make any difference where his ammo hand was but it was the forks that controlled it. That does contradict most aiming videos but it worked for him. I wish I could shoot that way but so far the only way I can be a fair shot is by cheek anchor to the corner of my mouth and fork/bands on target same place every time. If I deviate a little either way it throughs my shot off. Which I do a lot haha! MAN OF KENT GUNS AND CATAPULTS is another shooter who speaks similar except he doesn't aim with forks at all if I understand him correctly and he's a sniper. As I recall he says he puts the pouch under his eye and puts the forks out front and looks where he wants the shot to go. He said the God given ability of mind, hand and eye connection finds the target. No matter how you do it you're one of the best shooters in the world for sure brother!

    Useful explanation.
It's the "proprioception" knowing where your hands are in relation to the world pointing at the target, this is how traditional archery works both eyes open release when you know it's right. Longer draw should be an advantage as your aiming radius is larger.

Interesting! Very well explained, I really can follow you :) of course I also aim but my muscle memory does the job. I started with full butterfly style because of elbow problems from short draw shooting and more or less sticked to it. To me it's not just more challenging and beautiful, it even makes me breathe better sometimes - plus: high speed with light band sets :) Greetings ✌️😎🤚

I am shooting about 3/4 butterfly now and am really beginning to make it work but I always seem to get pain in my elbow when trying to shoot full butterfly. I just tried your thumb on the bottom pouch pinch and I don't seem to feel the pain that way. Maybe I can do full butterfly after all. It is amazing to see how much power just a 1/4 inch ball has out of a 65 inch draw. The only down side is that cans don't last very long when shooting extended draw.
