Johnny I love that you're always open to trying out new equipment. Regardless if it's commercial. There's a reason you're so successful! Plus it's quite evident through all your videos you're a very intelligent and hardworking individual. Major props for bringing info on these types of equipment. I'm sure you're helping guys/girls in the business out by showing this.
Wow, thanks a lot!
Johnny I can tell you that I have a gas powered string trimmer and a 40volt battery powered trimmer with 2 extra batteries. I find myself more often than not using the battery powered trimmer because it's just so convenient and gets the job done.👍
What brand is that trimmer?
@@ReyMonoMan I use the Ryobi. Glad I have it
Thank you for sharing. I like the idea of battery-operated equipment since our home is in an HOA. My husband's battery-operated equipment is way quieter than his gas equipment. The neighbors can't hear the trimmer or the leaf blower. Hopefully, we get a battery-operated riding mower soon.
Thanks for sharing
I got the ego line and man it's awesome. Just grabbing a trimmer after the winter and it just winds right up.
Great video! Going to give that Toro set up a look see. Thanks👍🏾
Alright now "Krispy King" !!!
Great looking stuff!!
Man, we waited a long time for the release of this tool. It was worth the wait! Great job with the battery. I have a small yard but the 2.5 gets me through edging, trimming, and blowing with no problem. Very powerful for a homeowner tool, I have yet to need anything other than speed 1. A couple of notes:
Mine spins counter clockwise just like my old gas trimmer.
I also installed the Speed Feed head. It works flawlessly and is an easy install using the silver adapter.
The safety switch is a little too small for my taste, and makes it difficult to use when flipping it over to edge.
The locking mechanism is a little difficult to use when taking off the attachment.
Those are the only 2 little issues I have, but definitely not a deal breaker. The power head is so reasonably priced that I’m just going to buy a second one and never take off the trimmer attachment.
I need to flip my handle like you did for ease of use when flipping it over.
Great video as always. Thank you Johnny! 👍👍👍
Great job great learning stuff from you too
Thank you! Cheers!
I like this grass yard cool very cool In deed
Very nice toro it did a really neat trimming and edging job.
Pretty good so far, Thanks 👍
I always like seeing what the battery is doing, right now I'm using the Greenworks brand but I like knowing whats available✔💪
Same here, love trying out new tools!
I use a lot of green works, can I ask what your using?
@@kelkev85 Yes I have the trimmer pole hedger and blower all on the 40v. I've been looking at the 80v commercial line. So far the 40v has handle pretty much everything I tossed at it.
@@bigsonslawncare same here the 40v has kept up, I have like 20 (40v 2ah-5ah batteries) for busy days, Pole-saw, pole-trimmer, hand held hedge trimmer, weed wacker, edger, hand held blower, 21" mower. Looking into getting the backpack leaf blower and the greenworks sitdown mower.
@@twentyfive2life686 Man that's awesome it's obvious its working out for you also✔👍
Very Nice! Good job explaining!
Glad it was helpful!
@@Bladesofgrasslawncare I have a pretty old B&D 36 volt Trimmer that is still working, but I am looking to replace it next year.
I too enjoyed the video, am about to buy the split/boom Toro. If you didn't know it will use the same attachments as the Ryobi gas an battery trimmers. That cinched the deal for me being able to use my older Ryobi attachments.
Another one! Great work, tight trimming and edging, always trying new equipment.💪🏼👊🏼🤙🏼
Thank you!
I have the Toro Battery Hedger and Pole saw…might end up with a edger or trimmer that will put me at 3 batteries ✂️💯
I did 11 properties and used 3 2.5 amp batteries
Nice system
I cut my own grass with a battery lawn mower kobalt and I love it m
Great content! I’m still two cycle but I use the inexpensive DeWalt overhanded saw
How often do you edge the lawn?
Nice edging Johnny with the new battery powered trimmer and edger. I see it’s a Toro, but what is the model#? It’s amazing that I know this subdivision better you 😀. You really maintain these lawns I just your customers give you a bonus at the end of the year.
Travel and Stay Safe 🙏🏾💨✊🏾
Thank you very muck
Another awesome informative video to a wide audience of consumers. I love the GO PRO first person on board video work. I watch your videos because you are giving us information to consider. I love 💘 how you are always bringing us along to check into different products and informing us of all the pros and cons. All products have their good points and everyone has a budget for their personal or business needs. I like mixing it up with residential versions. I buy residential stuff as back up to my Husky and Stihl stuff. I have a top of the line Honda push mower but I have a Lawn Boy and the Lawn Boy is a fabulous product and it was 2/3rds cheaper than my Honda! I will buy a Toro as a backup to my gas Husky. Thanks as always kind sir!!!🤠❤
Awesome, thank you very much!
Appreciate the review. Love my husqvarna stuff.
I may have missed it but did you put the metal cap on trimmer. I always thought about doing it. also do you have to hold that top switch the whole time
You’re a good man Johnny thanks brother 👍🇺🇸
Awesome video as always! On your zero turn do you have the throttle all the way open while the blades are on or only half way or somewhere in between?
All the way up
Johnny, you bought a new hard blade trimmer!! I know because you prefer to take off the safety shield and you haven’t had time yet ! lol lol
😂👍
Hey Johnny! Can you do a update on the trailer solar charging station? How's it charging after a few years?
GM sir ✊🏾‼️ So grateful for your channel, your input and vast knowledge has saved me so much time and money over the years...praying your strength and health in Jesus name🙏🏾 maybe one day I could return the favor and buy you breakfast and ☕💯💪🏾👌🏾
Nice, I got the 2020 model Toro I believe but the 2.5amp batteries only last about 20 to 30 mins so I bought 2 extra 6.0amp batteries along with the 4.0amp the come with the mower. I want to see you use the new one and I hope they didn't move the motor in your hands like Ryboi.
Nice 👍
I've been using the DeWalt 60v attachment trimmer for the past year. Although the RPM is less than my gas trimmer, the torque of the electric motor more than makes up for it. It has zero trouble with overgrown grass and weeds.
You don't bag the clippings?
Another great video Brother
Much appreciated
Hey Johnny, how did you get a metal cap on the echo speed feed head.
that stihl magnum 800 is thirsty
It is
I never see you treating or fertilizing the lawns do you do that off camera?
Great content johhny. One question. What is that silver looking thing on the bottom of the echo speed feed head?
It's a cap that I'm trying out once I know that it works I'll let you guys know about it
I saw that Rolling stop at 3:03, Johnny. 😏😉 But seriously though, I’m pretty impressed with that little bugger!
By the way, if I’ve never said it before, I love the way the edge looks around the mulch bed. That distinct line between the mulch bed and the grass is really crisp and sharp. Great work as always, Johnny.
Thank you!
I bought the string trimmer toro 60v that came with the blower and man that thing puts in work every day! Since last October, I have been waiting for the power head and Home Depot finally has it available 👍 we also use the xforce hedge trimmer from echo and that thing puts in work every day too.
Very cool!
Awesome seeing two new Toro battery powered equipments in action awesome job man. And question do all lawn care equipments have to be commercial?
It doesn't I 'm a commercial company, so my viewers expect to see me use commercial tools
As a solo operator in my forth year. I started out with used residential equipment and would gladly do it again. The used gravely zt1540 never once gave me an issue for commercial use. I just used it accordingly. As in slow down it I needed to instead of powering through it.
But I have upgraded to better equipment not. The finished quality is the same to me but the time I do it in is faster.
How are you? Zero turns are 42 inches is those the ones will fit in the back your truck thanks for the videos.
whats your stand up mower brand?
Exmark, DEWALT, Husqvarna
Hey what do you think of the milwaukee quick lock yard tool's?
Works great but battery life is not so good
How are they compare to the Milwaukee M18 power head ?
This battery life is longer by far
Hey Johnny talk about that shield you have on your weed eater head
Blades of grass I run a ego line iq trimmer and a black and decker 40,volt
Are you in Savannah or Hinesville?
looks early in am...
Just got a greenworks 25" mower have you ever heard of them?
Yes, congratulations!
How do you gain new customers? Do you do door hangers??
I have in-debt videos in my library
Where do you get them hooks that you have for your hand blower and weed eaters? I got some on my trailer but my equipment keeps falling off of it.
Look in my Amazon store in this video description for link
Just did only one thing is coming up. 🤷🏻♂️
.
Is the head spinning clock wise or counter on this line trimmer
Clockwise
On average, how many properties do you get done per day?
10 to 14
Im at 8-10 but was more. Im moving a lot slower the last few years. Lol
Did you ever try any of the backpack battery blowers?
Hopefully soon
not a husqvarna 325ilk for sure
better than husqvarna battery youve been using?
The Husqvarna is commercial tool you cannot compare them
How do you do removing green waste from clients with your trailer? Or you dont doing this?
We don't remove it because of free city pickup
@@Bladesofgrasslawncare and waste of tree cutting? Do you also let it at the client?
So are that toro tools better then the Husqvarna ones
You cannot compare residential tools to commercial tools
@@Bladesofgrasslawncare yeah that is right
Thanks
you took off all the racks of the truck,,
Making a killing on battery power , makes me sick in how I see it. But somethings need gas power for sure
Mower u sit it would cost u 30 batteries and take u 3weeks to mow it it's how I see it work on my books
What happened to your help
Batteries don't last long I used in 2hrs four batteries they suck.
Ur mowing grass I smell nothing at my house .clear air with using gas mowing
