'Non-Sterile' means it is not for use in a medical/surgical situation (as opposed to home use). For example, you might buy scalpel blades in a pack that are individually wrapped designed for use in crafts etc, which will be marked non-sterile. If they are for use in surgery then they will be sterilised (often by radiation) and specially packed in a tamper proof sterile wrapping. Hope that makes sense. đŸ–€

Fun fact! Most disposable things like blades, gauze, bandaids, etc. will be sterilized using ethylene oxide rather than radiation. :^) EtO is a highly toxic gas that kills any microorganisms or spores, but after a 12 hour aeration time, it’s perfectly safe to handle the items that were sterilized.

Okay I had to know the prices so I looked them all up. Prices pulled from Harrods whenever possible. I used the current price, several products were on sale. I also included the brand price when I could (easily) find it and it was different from the harrod listing. Enjoy!
    Day 1- $65
    Day 2- $175
    Day 3- $95 at harrods, $155 from 111 skin
    Day 4- $10, $40 for a 4 pack of samples
Day 5- $44 at harrods, $65 from NIOD
Day 6- $180- $240 depending on where you buy it (assuming I got the size right)
    Day 7- $38
    Day 8- $89
Day 9- $17 for five treatments (if I counted correctly)
Day 10- Full size 50ml is $207, no idea how big the sample size is
    Day 11- $48
    Day 12- $58 ($29 from walmart)
    Day 13- $70
    Day 14- $16 for a single pack
    Day 15- $26
    Day 16- $22
    Day 17- $40
Day 18- $22 or $39 (not sure which pack they are)
    Day 19- $63
    Day 20- $92
    Day 21- $37
    Day 22- $61
Day 23- $130 (or $900 if you buy it from Saks 5th ave??)
    Day 24- $53
Day 25- $19? Tough to find an exact match for the pack
Total, taking only the lower numbers and without day 10 (because I don’t know the price) is: $1470. Not bad!

Alexandria- don't worry if the creams you use from this box end up being expensive. If you like them and they work for you, figure out their active ingredients and use cheap, reputable products with those same active ingredients. Unlike makeup, the price for skincare does not correlate to efficacy. The active ingredients are cheap and the rest of the price is marketing and "prestige". I highly recommend Eucerin, CeraVe, and Cetaphil for drug store brands that work. I personally use CeraVe.

Finally, an advent calendar that makes some sense! I get that the general idea behind advent calendars is to have something to open each day just for fun. But these days when it's practically it's own industry, I think most consumers who are in the market for a high-end calendar would rather pay more and get incredible products than pay less and be severely disappointed (or worse, pay a lot and still be disappointed).
Edit: P.S., I was SO HOPING for an epic day 25. I'll always wonder why they don't put the most costly item there! It doesn't have to be a pony. Just take the most expensive item you were already going to include and put it at the end!

Not something I'd ever buy, but the packaging and bags are already so nice. It's reusable for so many things, cute, and I'd use it for storage w no issue. And those bags and seam rip the logo and use for gift bags for kids.

The only way I keep my skin care routine going is I do it right after I brush my teeth in the morning in the evening. I take a moment to put myself in the present (sort of like meditation) and it takes me about 5 minutes. In the past I could never be consistent with it until I combined the timing with a moment to reflect after brushing my teeth. I told my friend that kept insisting she didn't have the time to give herself a moment, now she keeps up with it as well. Worth a try so I figured I would share.

Boabab is a tree found in sub-saharan Africa. Fun fact, it's actually a giant succulent. It's called the "upside down tree" due to its appearance, with it looking like roots are growing out the top. The oil is very thick and moisturising.
To be fair to Harrods the slip scrunchies are actual silk and not polyester satin, so they will be more expensive and better quality.

The video quality looks good! If you’re not happy with the color try adding some red or gold or purple in the background. Small colored lights or pillows will give the camera something to work with on coloring. But it really looks good already.

    • @kelseywillow8110
      @kelseywillow8110 Pƙed 2 lety +1

Yes I love the video quality as well..and good advice but it depends if the camera setting white balance is on automatic. In that case a blue background would be better because the camera would correct it by adding yellow. So it could be that for example the brown couch (warm) causes the camera to add ‘cold’ that makes a person look more pale. Maybe there is also an option to measure white balance with ‘spot’ (one point of focus in the middle and not everything in the frame). I think a manual white balance would be the best. I personally don’t mind the colors in this video, I’m also glad you will probably not have the mysterious delete problem. Much love from the Netherlands ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I personally agree with you on most of these advent calendars. I like seeing more make up products in them. I cannot figure out how people can use so many skin care products at once without having some sort of skin problems or remembering to use them all before the dates run out. I would think they would have some equal medium between skin products and makeup in the calendars. However I think its all in opinion. Their are many people that love skin care. I just have very sensitive skin so its definitely not for me. But plenty of people I know would love it. Other than that, I loved the make up pallet you got in the calendar. Very pretty! Have loved watching your advent calendar videos this year! Has been very entertaining! Thank you! :)

Dr. Dennis is so good. I have tried the chemical peel but your skin doesn’t peel like regular chemical peels. It feels like an exfoliating and gets the job done without the embarrassing peeling process.
