Who am I?
I am Jason, I work full time in an office and I like to mow lawns on weekends for fun and a few dollars.
What areas do you service?
I currently service lawns in western Sydney around the Blacktown, NSW, area in Sydney Australia
Do you mow full time?
No, I work in an office 5 days a week and mow on weekends. Most jobs you see me do are FREE at my own cost.
How long have you been mowing:
6 months, but I helped my dad for 3-4 years when I was young when he started a mowing franchise.

We've all had to do that with a push mower at some stage. I hate it but can't always avoid it. It sure looks like months of growth but what a massive difference in the end. It looks like a completely different place. Well worth the hours of effort. Fantastic effort!

Next time you have to do this overgrown stuff just get a proper weed whacker. The big ones not those 25cc little, instead at least a 40-50cc. They come with a blade. Believe me. That just cuts through this kind of stuff. I do it 3 times a year on a 4 times size yard. Without the blade is nearly impossible

@@granddeluxe123 about 4 hours but I definitely don't make it pretty just cut and leave it like that. It is about a 10m x 80m back garden. I usually cut when the weeds are like 1m tall

Truly amazing, the power of that mower. Very courageous to take that on. Looks so much nicer! Thought that yard would be full of snakes, varmits, ticks and spiders. 😳 Only saw one grasshopper that managed to find a safe spot on fence. Quality work. 👍👍👍👍

That is possibly the toughest push mower I've ever seen! RoundUp eliminates frequent return visits, I've found.

I always have to wonder just how many horsepower those mowers down in Australia have compared to the US. I have used quite a few push mowers and none of them would even come close to being able to go through grass like these do.
It's a Kohler xt775 engine and they are made in the USA.
It's the same one Tim the Lawnmower man uses when he can't use his stand up. Those mowers are lawn beasts.

Whatever brand of lawnmower that is, I want one !! The company that makes that mower should use you in their commercials. You did a stupendous job on that lawn, if you can even call it a lawn. UFO's could land in that backyard and go undetected for at least 5 months...........lol.

If the grass was that high the last time you cut it and you didn’t know about the hole that doesn’t make you a dummy that actually makes you smarter because this way you know next time that it’s there. So don’t call yourself dummy you’re still smart.
My neighbor had something along the lines 0f this to do for an in-law who was banged up in a car wreck, and to make it less work, he took an old mower of his and torched out a big u-shape out of the mower deck between the front wheels, exposing the whirling blade and created a sort of poorman's brush hog mower, (and one of the most frightening things ever!) He also added a bar up above the motor that ran from the left front wheel area to just back of the rear deck. As the mower sliced off the tall weeds at the root, the weed would fall back and to the right side guided by the sloping bar and lay on the ground to be mulched later. It was outstanding at tall weed cutting, and even chopped off a few tree saplings with ease. He now saves it for the occasional odd job where only the "BEAST" can do the job.
That was an epic backyard transformation and you did it all with a mower?! I definitely need that mower!

I thought I had it tough cutting my lawn today which was 6-10 inches in places 😂😂. First cut and edging of the year was hard enough work. What you had to do would have flattened me more than the grass 🤪😜😝

That was a mondo job! I was overwhelmed. Appears the homeowners are not outdoor type people. I didn't see one tree, shrub, or flower in that yard.
