Thanks everyone for watching!
What was your favourite part of the video? Mowing, edging, weed eating, or blowing?
ALL
Edging is my favorite part. It is the finishing look of the lawn and curbs. The job just doesn’t look complete unless sharp edges are made!
Yes.
Blade edging followed by a shovel to scrape away the compacted dirt and grass.
Entire job. Looks like nicest house on the block now! Neighbors going to have to pick up their game on their lawns. Honestly, don't know how you finished in that heat and humidity. Stay hydrated! ♥️👍👍👍👍♥️
I am bothered when neighbors complain rather than ask if there is a need for help. Great job
You and me both!
People don't care about anyone but themselves. I deal with it as well when I'm out trimming and cleaning up. People complain about the dumbest shit.
Yeah like they could have sent their teenage boys over to help and teaching them good citizenship
Me to. Do you think that they brag to other people that they threaten a senior and that itmakes them feel big.
I can understand that the neighbors do not have the equipment to deal with a overgrow yard like this. But now that it has been knocked down, they could easily speed 30 minutes a week helping this elderly person! And maybe get some nice homemade chocolate chips cookies from the thankful Granma.
I find it a bit funny that this ladies neighbors got to the point of threatening her to get her lawn cut, and I bet that not one of them bothered to check and find out what the problem was and maybe someone in the neighborhood could do something to help instead of threatening the poor woman. As you know there are many reasons for lawn care to fall behind like health, broken equipment, or just old age and a lack of mobility. OK, I'll get down from my soapbox now and say thank you for helping out this woman. Oh yeah, careful not to run over the water meter.
Thank you for your comment! Criticism flows quite freely! Where I live I can't get people to help me even when I'm trying to pay them.
I ruptured my bicep muscle moving stuff in my driveway be cause neighbors and just had a repair of my stomach, lower esophagus and diaphragm struggling to move other things into my garage and to my basement. Never thought people could be so dreadful! And this house moving to was so much fun to start fixing up. Now, not so much!
Who keeps it up after you get it in shape.
😢 I agree 100 percent the neighbors are the problem. They could have easily just added a little bit of time when cutting their own yard and done hers too, instead of being hateful and confrontional.
@@joycebruce7452Me too!
Love how neighbors complain but aren’t willing to help out.
Great work. Now it looks better than the neighbors. 🎉🎉
You got that right!
I was thinking the same if they hated the yard so bad everyone pull out your tractors and start cutting, no its easier just to holler and make threats.
Great job under obviously terrible conditions but what a difference ..it actually looks like a nice garden /yard now
@@georgemccreight3897 I'm sure they're NOT fine people. The old lady is still stuck living next door to them.I guess the old lady's family are too lazy to help too. Will you go back in a few weeks and mow again?
that's very true hate neighbours like that all they do is complain instead of helping
This speaks volumes about a community. You did a great job, shame on the neighbours.
With neighbours like that who needs enemies. Thank you for helping her out. 👍
This happens here in the states . No respect for our elderly people. It's a shame. It takes a village to raise a child and at the same time it takes a village to help the elderly. Good people like you are needed everywhere.
Love your content. Hard to believe nobody would help this lady, just threaten her, so sad.
It was too much for one person to handle such a job and you did it. I have nothing but admiration for your hard work. I could never do it by myself. Hats off to you. Great job.
Good Job
He really did a great job. Is this in Australia? We have some great men who do similar kind acts in the US but you cannot do a job without the homeowner's consent. The renter was very lucky, but not sure why she didn't ask her landlord to do what was HIS job and HIS responsibility, but probably different laws.
In the US it's about liability. If the man was injured accidentally or a stone flew up and cracked a window, all sorts of havoc ensue.
It's a shame these "neighbors" don't help this person. That's infuriating....and sad.
the overgrown ones are always corner plots with 72km of edges. you did a great cleanup job.
Haha I know lots of edging.
It is very sad that neighbours would rather threaten each other rather than help!
Awesome job all around. You certainly showed the neighbors what a GOOD person does!!!
Thank you Lush Cut Lawns for sharing these videos as you move on helping those who obviously cannot do for themselves. Shame on those neighbors or complain and do nothing to help out the neighbor.
I love when "Or Else" comes out of someone's mouth. Makes me want to do the opposite of what they want. I went 2 years without mowing my yard one time. Because of that conversation. It's amazing how people will complain and threaten instead of getting off their couches and helping out.
Obviously the neighbor is not man enough to mow her lawn but is “man” enough to threaten a senior citizen. She must be so grateful for your work.
Thank you for helping people that really need it. You are the Best🎉🎉
I can totally appreciate your hard work in that heat. I grew up in Florida and I swear I became allergic to heat and humidity because as a kid I had no problem with it. Now I get heat exhaustion way too easy and have spent too much time in hospital for it. I moved back home to Canada for many reasons but the cold being a major one. Thank you for doing that hard job. I don't understand people threatening someone young or old over an overgrown yard. What a bunch of lazy butts who are also cowards! Go over and ask if help is needed because you never know what's going on with someone. People are just getting meaner all the time!
Amazing transformation Jason. I’m sure the elderly person who lives there and the neighbours are all very happy now 🙌🏼
THE NEIGHBORS ARE SICK PEOPLE
I very much doubt the neighbours are happy doesn't sound to me like they know what happy is ?
The council should bury the water meter like they do here in brisbane
When did neighbors stop being neighbors? When did society stop respecting n helping our elders? When did relatives become too busy to help their family members? 😑 God provides folks like this guy to bridge the gap. ✝️
I was hoping it was going to be a 2 parter series because I felt so bad for you battling the heat/humidity. Somehow you managed to muddle through that whole hot--mess. Here's hoping you won't ever have to come back here and see that again!! You did a fantastic job, and doing it by yourself, was not to be believed .
That was an incredible outcome! A million dollar job--once again, you should be proud and give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back!
Thanks for doing it for her! ♥️🇨🇦
Great job, Jason. Too bad the neighbors were not willing to help this person out instead of complaining. I enjoy all aspects of yard work. Keep up the great work, and see you on the next video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Yeah, how dare the neighbors have their own lives to live, their own families to look after, their own lawns to manage, own vehicles to manage along with other family members they might have to help out frequently. Yeah, F all of that, let their own families go to S, they should be out there helping strangers first instead of their families first.
THEIR DAY WILL COME, WHEN THEY WILL BE OLDER, AND NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING----
I SURE WOULDNT WANT ALL THOSE CRABBY WOMEN. AROUND. ME!!!!!❤♥️❤♥️❤♥️
@@marcuslinton310 Just. Say'n. !!!!😊😊😊😊😊
Well Done!!! 👍 Thank you for helping out, too bad the neighbors aren't the same. 😎☮️💖👍🙄 Awesome thanks 👍😊🌹🐾🐺
Thanks 👍
Great job Jason. That was one heck of a job and especially in that heat and humidity.
Thanks 👍
That has signs of maybe being a well-thought-out yard at one point. Like for many people, events combined to cause it to fall behind in care. Thank you for cleaning it up and helping put the neighborhood standard back on course as well. (I am chuckling over the "unfindable" water meter/utilities. It is always a point of humor for me that they seem illogically random and then are rarely easily found. I think I have determined I'd flag any that I had to work to find. They are usually so short that painting them orange, they'd still be lost in a bout of tall growth.) 27:40, it was nice to see all your work starting to take form. The design features and useful things as walkways are becoming restored. That was definitely a restoration, and a lot of diligent work to pull it off. The yard is now navigable, safe to use and attractive again. Never did see the usual utilities though you found a lot of utility access plates. Best wishes in all the humidity with the heat, plants like it but not so good for humans.
refreshing to see a few kind souls help the elderly
Fantastic work Jason. It looks so much better now. Thanks for tackling the tough jobs and thanks for sharing the video.
Cheers. 😁
It's a shame those same vain neighbors didn't bother to help a neighbor out, maybe show some compassion and love. You did a great service for her and for all of us that are watching your gift to this grandmother. :)
I find it interesting the property to the right of the corner block is also in need of some TLC. I’m guessing they weren’t the ones having a whine about the corner block.
Monster cut green and mid summer nineties shows how much rain you have had this year, climate change every year it seems ,huge credit to you on this one.
With as long as the grass was, I would have picked it up
The job was 100% free. 5.5 hours of hardwork for not one single dollar.
Why don't you donate in my paypal link so I can take the grass away?
Or do you just want to be rude and have no manners?
@@LushCutLawns Patrick is right. You are just leaving the cut grass for the next person who mows. Quit crying, take the skirt off, pick up the grass and take some pride in your work.
@@LushCutLawns How do I do that?
Thank you for helping this lady out! You are such a kind and generous person. The neighbors should heed your example! Keep it up!
Great job Jason. Those corner lots are so much extra work with all the edging. Edging is my favorite!!
Thanks a bunch!
Fantastic job, young man!!! Thank you for taking care of the lawn for this lady. It truly breaks my heart to hear and see how our society has once again become so selfish and “un-neighborly”…. This every man (woman) for himself should never be acceptable!!! We don’t know this lady’s story, but apparently she needed a helping hand…and she got the best help ever from a kind and caring Angel!!! Take care in all the heat and humidity!!! Be Blessed, from Wyoming, USA!!!
Flipping through CZcams I saw your video and wanted to let you know that your selflessness and kindness was appreciated. I am sure that many people feel the same way. It is disappointing that some neighbors would rather threaten others instead of bothering to find out Why the area has been overgrown or even offering to lend a hand. God Bless you and those like you that are willing to give of yourself to help others.
Even the squirrel is happy, shooting across the lawn when you were done! Sure the lady was very pleased! Looks terrific, neighbors should be pleased!
Great job, my Aussie friend. What a difference! Night and day. I am sure that elderly person and her angry neighbors are both very pleased. I cannot imagine working in that heat but you did an unbelievable job and did not hit the water meter. 😊😊😊From New Hampshire, USA.
Nice job, that was A BIG job for 1 guy!
Yes it was!
The mower is a beast!
Gulf Coast of Texas here. During the hot/humid days, you should be guzzling electrolyte water. It makes all the difference . You don't feel like you've been hit by a truck the next day. You did a fabulous job!
Wow 😮 that was a lot of work. You did amazing👍👍
Never over do it you can finish another day, which gives us another video to watch 👀😍
I enjoy the edging and weeding it’s like the icing on the cake.
Thanks so much 😊
Good job as usual… drink plenty of water to keep you going!🌬💞💫
Thank you, I will
Fantastic job!!! You do great work. That yard was a beast!!! 😃😃😃
Yes it was!
Brilliant job feel for you in this heat
Between the edging and the weed eating, that was a lot of work. Looks like there were three places underground for the water shutoff in front. Unless it is just inside the fence on the side in the backyard. That was a lot of work for 90's and humid. Look forward to seeing the backyard.
Yards are only nice when we have the health and funds to maintain them. As a senior I am minimizing my yard due to both of these issues. Thank you for helping this lady.❤️💯
Instead of HELPING the granny, neighbours chose to THREATEN the granny?
Speaks volumes to their character and morals.
Thank you for helping people who need help. The world needs more of that.
Communities work better when everyone pitches in to help.
This is from someone who knows about dehydration and what it will eventually lead to. Always take a break. Drink a lot of water, even if you don’t feel like it. Good job my friend.
I'm really glad our water meters are underground not just because of freezing, but because I'd have hit it way too many times. 🤣 I hit enough as it is.
Thank you for being an inspiration! Too bad everyone doesn’t feel the need to help 😢
You and the work you do are amazing and I hope you know how much joy you bring to all thank you
That was a real big job for you but very well done God-bless
Good morning everyone hope you are having a good day. Greetings from the USA
Have a nice day
Regarding those water meters, we have a similar problem over here in the northeast USA. In the winter we get snow and the towns all mark the fire hydrants with about 3 foot poles so its easy to find the hydrants in the snow banks, maybe someone over there should mark with a small flag the location of these water meters so they are ealier to find in tall grass situations.
Thank you for doing that for her. Fantastic job.
You did a Awesome job on this yard! Thanks for being a blessing to this grandmother that was in need. Keep your head up!
Wow, that was fantastic! Huge job and so hard in the heat. Good on you! Well done and thanks.
Wow. That was a job. Wonderful results. Enjoying your videos from Swartz Creek Michigan USA.
Awesome! Thank you!
The worse thing about Aussie summers is not that we hit 33 to 40c degrees (or more) …it’s the extreme humidity that’s comes with it. It feels like the heat is sucking the air right out of you. Lungs have to work harder to get oxygen during high humid conditions. 🥵
Where I live in the states you break a sweet before you can get to your car. When you open the door to go outside it
's like opening the oven door. a blast of hot air hits you in the face. We also have very high humidity.
Lushy with another home run! Bravo!
Fantastic job! Thank you for helping those who need it for whatever reason. Wish the neighbors would reach out and help instead of being judgmental..
Thanis again from Arizona, USA. 😎
Yes, thanks
Well you've earnt a medal, well done !
If those people put that same energy into helping their neighbours, as they do about whinging of them. The world would be a better place.
I hope you found that water service. Lawn turned out very sharp.
Holy overgrown smokes!!! 😁😁😁😁😁 I'm trying to picture that other than what the video references. 😁 You always do nice work, Jason.
You did an awesome job. I am very sure that the eldery lady is more than grateful. It's not fun getting old and having no help. There's some things I need help with but it's hard on a fixed income. Bless your heart.
I'm glad you said that, cause it's my favorite part! Thank you!
Outstanding.. gold star work. That resident must be over the moon! Coldies earned Jason. 🍺🍺
Thanks 👍
Hot or not, you did a great job. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Thank you so much!
The neighbors had 3 fingers pointing back at themselves.
Thank you Dear Heart for helping Grandma. ❤️
AWESOME JOB BROTHER 👍, Always looks Great when your finished!!! Stay Safe and Keep CUTTIN IT UPPPPP, CYA SOON next time!!!!🌈🚜🚜🔥🔥🔥✌️👍🥳😎♥️
Thanks! You
Fantastic job🤩
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video Jason, a lot of work in the heat, the end result was awesome.
Thanks 👍
Great job friend! Thanks for helping the lady, I know she was grateful. 🙏🏾
Yes, thank you
Such a massive difference Jason Great job.
My name is Jason,.not Nathan. 😊
@@LushCutLawns ooops sorry lol
Great job! You made a huge difference. Hope you are keeping hydrated. That’s some wicked heat you are dealing with. Really enjoyed the video. Keep up the good work, and I’ll see ya on the next one. ❤️
A very beautiful job .enjoyed watching .
Thank you! Cheers!
What a thoughtful person to help out an elderly person thank you for your kindness.
Great video, you are went above and beyond,it needed it for sure.I’m amazed how you just go for it.neighbors should not have anything more to say about it.keep up the great work and carry on.kudos 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Glad you enjoyed it
Another awesome job done and dusted did end up finding the water main cheers Mate
I think it was that one that I found on the other side that I thought was for the other property.
Great job! My favorite part is the weed eating/ whipper sniffing! 😀
Lots of work! Great job.
Thanks!
Great job Jason helping out the elderly lady. No one knows what peoples situations are. Gone are the days that neighbours help their neighbours. My 14 year old son often goes to neighbours and asks if they need their lawn cut or any odd jobshe never accepts money. He just says " well everybody needs somebody to help at times". I have been a single mum since my son was 12 months old and i taught him respect and morals like i was taught and to always offer to help
I so understand humidity here in Michigan.
Try using a cooling towel around your neck.
It would cool you down.
Nice work!
Thanks for the tip!
I'm from the south. I used to laugh in the 80's when michigan people complained about the humidity. 2023, not laughing anymore. My furniture turns green in the summer now.
Awesome job, you are amazing, love watching on my TV, you you be blessed
Thanks so much
Prima werk Lush . Heb waardering voor je inzet voor deze ouderen en de enorme werklust die je toont . Groet uit Holland.👍👌😊
When I was a kid I mowed our lawn , both my uncles lawn, & an older neighbor’s lawn. I have always loved yard work. No one works together to help others anymore. You would believe if for no other reason but to have the neighborhood look nice.
Nice transformation!
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks great! Hope you went and sat down, drank a lot of water, and took a long nap in the air conditioning.
I did!
Why can't the neighbours help out and instead of complain I help my neighbor out ..great job 👍 thank you for sharing have a great day 😊
Fantastic Job Jason, hats off to you buddy, as to the neighbours, they should mind their own business, making threats instead of perhaps helping, but sadly this happens to often, and they instead make random calls to real estates complaining, which is what sadly I found out one of my neighbors did to another family in the street, instead of seeing if they needed a hand ( in fact the dad was in recovering from surgery, I found out later.) so again I say Hats off to you, for being a very decent bloke,
You are a beast!!!
Love the videos. They inspire me to do my yard. Looking forward to the new video:)
Awesome! Thank you!
I love the edging,...it somehow give a professional look. BUT hey, its all good
There has to be enough men that lives in this neighborhood that could help an elderly woman. The men around the area should keep it mowed for her. Be a good neighbor guys.
Saturday i drove past a old couple trying to push mow a 7000sqm that was 2ft tall and thick so i stopped and told them i will be back with a ride on mower it took me just over 1hr doing 2 passes they loved iit and i refused to take their money they were so happy videos like this and a few different ones i watch gave me the inspiration
New subscriber here Jason, from OZ, thank you for your kindness in helping out the occupier, who obviously couldn’t keep on top of this huge yard. Where is the neighbourly spirit of helping out gone? They should be ashamed of themselves. Well done to you,a great job by the way.🤗👌🏻
Stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade when you can! I'm sure there are reasons why, but it's odd to me that water & gas meters are up above ground there. Here, they are recessed just below surface level. You'd think even so, they'd have a box or something around it to prevent accidents. The same with water heaters being outside there. It seems very inefficient at least in winter. The driveways make sense though, it's cheaper having two tracks for the tires and the middle grass. After all, how often do you drive on the middle of the driveway? It does double the edging although if kept regularly, it shouldn't be hard to maintain.
Take care and stay safe!
Thank you for helping that Lady 🥰
