- On BudgetEDH we build fun and optimized commander decks with a pre-set budget in mind. In this week's episode we build a $100 budget Arahbo, Roar of the World deck from the Magic the Gathering product Secret Lair. Arahbo is a Cat Tribal commander that has the ability to pump up your cats from the command zone, and also while on the battlefield. We will deploy out army of kittens, pump them up and get in for some massive damage!

Love this commander. You're lucky MTG is cheap where you are, this list for me is $408 Inc shipping with 17 packages from TCG Player. Or buy locally like a city away for $380 not including shipping. That's just the base minimum of each card. Alms Collector is $23, Brimaz is $27, and Mirri is $30. And that's with a few cards missing.
However, for your deckteck I'd add Coat of Arms, really helps with the cats alot. Good videoman, I'm going to try something like this that I can afford. Don't know if you've done Rin and Seri Inseperable yet. They're a nice card for token gen.

Your upgrades outside the given budget usually include a background showing Nazahn. In this deck, you include Nazahn, but his Hammer is outside of the budget. What an opportunity! So sad that you missed it. Otherwise, nice deck tech, I know the Cat Commander quite well. Our playgroup plays an early aggresion (aggro) variation of your cat deck. Together with some of the finest commander-aggro-decks (Edgar Markov), durdeling players like me have to watch out.
I think that’s actually the commanders quarters that does that!

I had it in the first draft, but had to cut due to budget constraints. It’s a great card to include if you have one though. I’d take out one of the less impactful cats like Sacred Cat for it.
