- If your Switcher Studio iPhone cameras are close enough to your switch to run an Ethernet cable, it makes sense to also use that connection to supply power. Typically the recommendation is a $100 adapter, but I’ve found a solution for $35. It requires a POE-capable switch, but it’s a good investment anyway. Links for the products are below...
RJ45 Adapter. amzn.to/3gGAsF9
POE Splitter. amzn.to/3gDgLxQ
Micro USB to Lightning. amzn.to/37XxLuY
Lightning 6ft extension. amzn.to/3gBY7qi
RJ45 Ethernet Cable. amzn.to/3m9emMI
TPLink 4port POE switch. amzn.to/3nb3lMd
TPLink AC2600 Router. amzn.to/378C0EA
This was totally awesome, I had no idea you could even do this!
Thx Brett. Wifi is great for the far left and far right cameras, but the 2 close cams might as well be hardwired and charged with POE. Of course I also use it for the iPad since I’m close to the switch. Cuts down on the batteries etc.
Can you provide a link for the exact adapters?
Sure. They are already in the video description

I was hoping for the model number of the IPhone adapter as well as where you bought the package of connectors that go on the end of the micro connector so it would fit into the UOS device. I see the model # in the video of the PoE splitter-thanks for that info
Are you not seeing actual amazon links in the description? They are showing ok for me, but maybe there’s an issue.
Where about in Canada are you?
I’m in Woodstock Ont.
