This book is part of a whole series as part of the Gesell Institute of Human Development where they studied thousands of children from birth to 16yo over 100 years. This is an excellent resource to understand what is developmentally appropriate at 3 years old, what is typical 3 year old behavior. Hi, Anna. I find exactly the same traits in my 2,5 year old doughters behavior. We are currently in a little bit of hard spot, but this video gave me hope and strenght to keep on good parenting. I already am looking forvard to my sweet and cooperative 3-y-old. 😁

I love these videos! One interesting thing is, my daughter seems to have disregulation more around the 1,2 and now 3 year mark coming up. Are those points of age also possible to have some bumps in the road?

So glad to hear you are finding these videos helpful. And yes ultimately what these books tell us is that there are periods of dysregulation once a year for this age group. It's not an exact science as to when and some kids will be more difficult than others. This is simply to help us manage our expectations. Hang in there! There is light at the end of the tunnel I promise ❤️
