    (Heb 6:9-12)
    I. Because of Actions (v. 9-10)
    A. The author is confident about their Salvation (v.9a)
    B. The author is confident about their Sanctification (v.9b)
    a. Their love is demonstrated by practical ministry [cf., Mt 22:36-40; 1 John 4:20-21]. (v. 10)
    II. Because of Assurance (v.11-12)
    A. Actions of love energize their assurance [[cf., Rom 4:19-21; Heb 11:8-10]. (v.11)
    a. It keeps one from becoming lazy [cf., Prov 22:9] (v.12a)
    b. It keeps one focused on the goal (v.12b)
    c. Inheriting the Kingdom Promises:
    1. There will be degrees of recompense in the Millennial Kingdom (Mt 18:4; Lk 7:28).
    2. There will be degrees of rewards in the Millennial Kingdom (Col 3:23-24).
    3. There will be degrees of ruling in the Millennial Kingdom (Lk 22:28-30; 1 Cor 6:2-3; Rev 2:26).
    Point to Ponder:
    To experience diligent Christian growth is work. It starts with having the right attitude towards God and is reflected in our actions with others, particularly with other Christians. Your spiritual growth is solidified in the demonstration of loving actions.
