What I like about the Boom is they have the complete package. From Trumpets, Mellos, Btones, Bones, Tubas, Woodwinds, Drumline, Drum Majors, JSettes. Plus it’s a balanced power. That’s why they’ve always been my favorite band.
Su has always been missing a Drumline / tubas that’s why I never consider them a full band

That trombone and tuba part is not off tempo at all it’s made for the song people have to understand jsu band because if you understand they play style you will understand that they write off tempo parts.
If you don’t have an ear for it I can see why some may say there was tempo issues. Tubas and bones was calling each other that’s all lol

Omg, no tempo issue at all on the 1st song. U have 2 listen to a different recording. The tbones did call backs to the tubas. In fact that gave the tubas an echo effect. The tbones were playing the ending notes of tubas in call backs to the tubad. Its very clear that the tbones were paired with the tubas. On other recording its clear that the tbones are paired and does call back after the tubas.

@@KBThaBandhead u have to go back and listen to a different recording. The tbones did call backs to the tubas and was paired with the tubas. The tbones were also used to give the tubas echo. Basically they paired with the tubas and ended the tubas notes. U aren't hearing tempo, u r hearing multiple parts being played. If u listen to a different recording u can hear it as clear as day.
@@kingbigshot3281 facts, sadly most people commenting don't have the ear to hear it. Little put some extra in that arrangement. Even on seen it all, he added the double note to tubas at the end of that song. That was never there. I love it though.
3:53 there was no tempo issue. It’s arranged where the trombones have a split part and they’re playing back and forth with each other.

@@datrealboy95 He was the same way when Boom played Tomorrow in ‘22 and Doc wrote the Woodwind part on the upbeat to counter the brass to give the dark ambience. He always doubts Dr. Little’s creative abilities. But praises SU for whole note noise 😂😂😂
