You would think the need for so many supplements would prompt someone to question the vegan diet,it’s screaming deficient.
It is important to talk about the potential danger of this diet/lifestyle. Some people do fine, most do not and need to change their ways. I think it is also important to give former vegans a place to go of acceptance and understanding. It seems people are almost afraid to get out of the lifestyle because other vegans can be awful to them for it. This channel is a great start!
No period for 11 years? I'm so glad you got your health back. You look very happy and healthy.
Thank you for this video ❤️
This is so helpful Chlo! Thank you! I was vegan for three years to try to heal from lyme disease and I ended up having new difficult symptoms such as hair loss, hormonal issues and anxiety! Ive been eating meat again for a few months now and I feel so much better!
I was super diligent about macros and supplementing, but after 5 years of being vegan I had intense brain fog and lost my period. I used to judge people that went off veganism and I never thought that I would.
well done!!!
It’s pretty telling of the vegan culture that she has to justify and explain herself too this extent when obviously her health was so bad. Sad.
If vegans were really healthier, evolution would have made us all herbivores. We must take our health seriously. If you can live a healthy life as a herbivore/vegan, then you are one of the lucky ones.

OMG, I’m so happy for you!! I love how excited you were towards the end of this video and you look great. I was the same as you. I was vegan for 5 years and I felt awful! I was tired, I couldn’t breathe, my skin was dry and sallow AND grey! Mentally I was anxious and panicky. It was horrible. In the end, I was desperate and I ate a bacon sandwich. This followed me stepping into eating tuna, eggs and chicken and my body is so grateful! Thanks for sharing this story. 🥰
I love how you get so passionate talking about this! You look like a completely different person from a year ago! I think a lot of people will benefit from this information and this approach of being open and respectful of each other. I will keep watching! Keep up the great work!
Yay!! So happy I found your channel! I just left v3ganisim a few days ago and omggggg already a huge difference, so much emotional release, had the same experiences with having my first eggs! Hopefully my teeth will reminilize! Lots of love and so much appreciation for you doing what you do!
What a breath of fresh air! Eloquent and educated on the subject matter- thank you for sharing! Subbed.
Hi Chlo, you look really well I have to say. I’ve been vegan for around 4 years now and honestly feel done with it. This past year I’ve been experiencing a lot of what you mentioned, very dry skin, bloating and brain fog. And I just never feel satiated after food these days, been really craving eggs and meat. I think it’s time to eat some decent meals haha. Cheers and all the best to you.
Wowwww!!! The before and after photos towards the end of the video is astonishing. You look old and haggard on veganism but look absolutely amazing now that your eating normally. My jaw literally dropped
Part of it for me was absolutism. A dietitian told me that other people she saw would cut back on things that were supposedly bad for health (like saturated fats at that time), whereas I would absolutely eliminate them. I wouldn't touch anything that I had come to believe was bad. Even a sip, literally, of wine or beer was off limits.
Omg I woke up and saw this-going to shower and then watch ,can not wait!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness I am going through this exact same thing! I was doing such a similar process. Healthy BMI, and eating SOOO much but only as perfectly clean and plant based as possbile" Had my first waffles made with tonnes of butter and eggs and milk and it was the greatest relief. Still have some way to go though!
Thanks for sharing! I was vegetarian for the better part of my 20’s (in my early 40’s now) - I lapsed into veganism a couple times. I had many health issues, was underweight, very under muscled, despite being active and lifting weights. I was so discouraged because I was eating such healthy food, but I was tired and didn’t feel well. Ignored the fact that it was probably not the right diet to nourish my body. Years later I found out that I have food sensitivities to gluten, beans, legumes, nightshades - everything I had been eating for years. I now eat a whole food diet - animals and plants. No gluten, wheat, grains, or other foods that I can’t tolerate. Veganism is not a “cure all” and it doesn’t work for everyone. Listen to your body, if you feel healthier eating fish, steak, eggs then go ahead and eat them!! There are many ways of eating that lead to good health!
