A: Slightly muffled, bassiest out of all, full bodied, has high frequency shelf cut off, darkest of five.
B: Most balanced out of five, most linear FR out of five, good voice clarity.
C: Lower treble high mids peak then treble roll off on very top, sounds somewhat sharp and a bit sibilant.
D: Mild V shape, somewhat extended treble and a good air due to it. Less sibilant then C or E, good base and body.
E: Good but shouty vocal range, lower treble peak somewhere.
A, B are better for treble sensitives, C needs EQ badly, D is decent classical V shape without being to splashy, E good vocals and extension, but needs some EQ to get rid of treble peak and maybe some bass bump.
Impressions from this video best to worst: B > D > A > E > C
If EQed well enough then E would probably be the best out of bunch, at least in terms of FR. Without EQ B and D sounded the best. A if you are treble sensitive and like bassy sound.
B, D for the gentle highs, E for the resolution. Vocal positioning sounded weird and slightly boxy/congested on the MT1 don't know why. Also, the last part of the last track is quite helpful for judging the iems please let it play out across all iems before the video ends!!
would be great if you could switch the frequency response charts to match each iem as its played thanks. interesting comparisons.
Awesome video! I hope you also do a review of KZ SKS. I like the improvements on Bluetooth 5.2 and this might be a serious contender for the best TWS.
The Mt1 sounds good for the price, better than the EDX for sure. But the Vk4 is still sounds the smoothest to me. 👍👍

Dang! The VK4 and ZST X sound almost identical!.
*MT1:* intense overall
*VK4:* bassy
*ZST-X:* VK4 + mids
*EDX:* mids/shimmering treble
*ZSN-X:* more balanced EDX
Evaluated using my pair of Samson SR850s.
ZSN X sounded the most clean overall
You see. They (vk4 & zstx) even have the same "candy" color.

I get mire that the EDX( which I have) is the least best. Hard to single out the rest, still all sound good. Great sound comparison 👍🏿
Have you heard about the *Status Between Pro* i dont see any negative comments about it regarding the lack of noise cancellation but i think you may like it.
Hard to tell :D all samples are dominated by EARS diffraction somewhat fierce. Knowing the EDX they do make the impression like they'd all sound pretty adequate for real!
What type of cable does TRN MT1 using or have? So that I will know what cable to buy when my cable of mine worn out. Sorry, Im new to the IEM's 😅
i have mt1 and old vk4. I still prefer vk4 for music, long time listening (not tiring), balance, and better config overall
Will the KZ removable cables work for TRNs, vice versa?
EDX picks up lows so well, hidden sounds come out. The highs are gentle. Plan to use these to play Apex Legends and FPS games and I don't need any overpowering highs while listening to footsteps.

B sounds good to me. I think also the “Do or die” song is very bright, because afterwards other music sound good in almost all except a little soft on ZSN X.

Depends on your preference, theres indeed a lot of choices now. You should check the reviews here and soundtests. And check my description for my top 5s. But for blon yes i still like it.
EDX are best with good dap in case of underpowered source they sound much worse

Hey zpolt, I am very new to IEMs and I recently bought zst x for my first IEM, and it's great so far but for yt vids I feel like the vocals are recessed? I'm not sure but that's what I feel like it is. So I am thinking of buying another one that has a different tuning from the zst x. Based on watching so many of your videos, I am considering NICEHCK DB3, QKZ VK4, Moondrop Spaceship, or a KZ ZSN Pro X. (Or maybe yet, should I also consider adding more to my budget, a Blon-03) Which do you think should I consider buying that would give me a different tuning from a zst x. Havent tried the jbls so im not sure. But the kzs might give you more clarity.

Interesting. In the edx vs vk4 comparison, I ended up prefrering the edx 8/10 times. Here its seems to be the other way around and the vk4 sounds less peaky. idk which one to choose..
Edx sound feels like it's sepearating bass and treble to different sides unlike others sounding them with both sides

How do you think the blon bl03 sound against the fiil t1x. I know it isn't an optimal comparison but as what you said "tws sound quality is 50% of it's price" and the blon bl03 is around that price range. Do you think they sound better than the fiils or the other way around. Looking to buy my first iem kasi pero i want it to sound better than my current daily driver (fiil t1x) hehehe thank you.
I havent heard of the t1x unfortunately, but if I am just going to guess, from what I am hearing from tws recently, the blons might still be a more enthusiast tuned tws. Whether its better or not depends on how good the t1x is.

THIS IS a 20-25$ test(some might be 30-35$, but honestly you would buy a better sounding IEM even if it costed 10+$) , he has done i guess 4-5 more, please actually check if the channel has the content before requesting, least effort you can put compared to content creator's efforts
Im in shock...C and E sounds trash...and it shouldnt. Model A is not very revealing, but well ballanced, B and D are clear winners for me with lot of details, where B has more lower range "body"

I was considering VK4/MT1 before but just got Blon BL03 yesterday after 2 years of KZ ZSN (non Pro) though I have to say I really miss the bass rumble of ZSN and kinda regret my decision haha.

While all of these sound good to me, A and B sound better. Wow, it's again the MT1 and VK4!
C sounds pretty close to B. I just preferred B a bit more.
D and E sounded like it lacked warmth, but still pretty good.
Is E the ZSN Pro X? That was my first IEM, but gave it away to my mom cause I upgraded to Moondrop Aria.

Got get 'em they are cheap. You need to burn them in though. They are boomy V shape, Good for bassheads but not muddy for me, it's similar sounding to the QKZ AK6-X but with more bass good for watching movies and maybe games.

That's why I value your opinion. I am a bass lover, I like it very much, but I also like to hear the details. If there is not much difference, it makes sense to buy cheaper models. Since I don't know much about headphones, I'm looking at the dynamic driver and armatures inside. I guess the one with more drivers is better 😅

They lack lower frequency
Its lacking bass but still punchy on zsn pro x not boomy which produces better soundstage,clarity and crystal clear sound.
I would get the VK4 if it had a "no mic" option. I was thinking about the MT1, but it just sounds a bit too shouty to me, just like the EDX.

Compare to blon 03, QKZ VK4 mid is more recessed, bass quantity is not that much. However, the sub-bass of VK4 is better and deeper. Blon 03 is not that 'bright' and you will miss some treble details (cymbals). QKZ VK4 has a better instrument seperation than blon 03. It really depends on what kind of music that you prefer. Blon 03 is good if you like EDM and vocals. QKZ VK4 is better if you want to hear more details in music.
MT1 sound quality is very good, the only thing I disliked about it is the looks.
They should've put the tuning of the MT1 in the CS1, the CS1 is better looking than the MT1.

It is a bad decision. Now CCA CA2 has been released. This EDX's cousin is also better sounding. Makes me regret purchasing EDX big time
