They used to use a current compressor which of course does a lot of harm. These days they analyze the average LUFS of a song and/or album and properly normalize them to a target. Just don't put it on HIGH because it does affect the sound quality, in fact Spotify itself says so.

I just got these cheap ones for my daughter's, dump the silicone tips right away they are junks get the memory foam ear tips Makes massive difference in sound Keeps them at optimal position in the ears allows full sound from these. So as I said picked up as cheap ones for daughter's 😢modded iPod classic. I'm using thruthears zero reds/ TRN conch as my dailys. But these are as good. Slapped some memory foam tips on that cost nearly same amount of these cheap headphones and wow 😮fast base good beats clear vocals getting the angle right in your ear and these sound pretty good. Im actually perfering these to my Attri T10 planers whose screeching sound hurts my ears. Whereas these I could wear most of the day volume works and forward a track or back a track three clicks on mic buttons work on iPod classic too. Purchased this after returning ea500lm. They were too bright for my ears. Was in doubt if Tangzu fudu would be any good given so much mixed reviews. But after listening them I am pleasantly surprised and happy how smooth yet fun they are. They are my daily driver now.

volume Normalization Should be number One. This feature compression of the music so much you lose all your headroom and the dynamics the music sells flat lifeless.

I thought the Salnotes Zero sounds good but judging by this test, this IEM is way too overrated. Sounds muddy without any sound separation at all. The KZ did the best even though it is bright it can always be toned down with EQ.

the VX sound like a extreamly cheap Planar, the BA5 sounds similar to the Zero from Truthear but a bit softer at the mids and subbass,

so should we turn the audio normalisation on or off?? it isnt clear in the video

The genres that I mainly listen to are metal (pretty much all of its sub-genres), and songs that has heavy emphasis on basslines like Japanese Rock, funky jazz, and fusion jazz. Would you recommend this IEM for those genres? If not, what would you recommend on similar price range?

Thanks, great presentation! Looks like the Px7 was the direct successor of the flagship P7W but the Px7 S2e is now just a "cheaper" derivate of the Px7. The S2e is advertised as "entry level" by B&W, maybe for upselling reasons, and the new flagship is called Px8. I still have the P7W. If i'd like to go with ANC, wouldn't it be the best to upgrade to Px8 for equal sound upgrade?

What I'm really interested is a nice camera to faithfully record without distortions. The camera they use to take passport photos at the FDA is superb. But what I really want in a camera is foremost a fantastic audio recording capabilities because I'm currently heavily invested in my camera for its sound profile and changing cameras at this point will trash all of my EQ profiles.

I got a pair of these and recently the cable snaped near the headphone. The cables are complete trash, they are way too stiff. So i soldered a new cable, they are very easy to repair.

I am here literally after just unboxing them and using them. All i can say is this is the worse heaphones i have ever used....... Literally no bass , it just raw sound , and its so uncomfortably loud, it literally hurts not even joking, the buzzing in the ear won't stop, i don't get what are these people recommending...............
