In my town a local Krispy kreams has like 2-4 car meets a week western Sydney Jdm meets wend Friday is some old school club and there's another club on Saturday I think and there's a bike club once a month

Wombat the only meets around here are for classic cars. I mean I like classic cars, but I want to be able to take my own car and meet some other enthusiasts and actually have fun!

You guys at MCM are the real Australian Top Gear show! Great show.
I like the old Top Gear, but MCM has TG beaten hands down on authenticity. No producers dreaming up shit to make things 'more interesting', and guys who REALLY do the work on the cars. Top it off with Moog doing the music and video editing himself, and it doesn't get much more authentic.
Just love how chill everyone is, Moog able to just pootle around and wave to everyone, everyone looking genuinely friendly and just doing their thing, go Auz.
The community you guys have built over the years is incredible. Keep up the good work fellas!

This is in my opinion the best way to film a car meet. First the artsy type of filming with some chill tunes and after that some walkthrough and interviews.

Australia has a provisional licence system. The rules vary from state to state and how long you are on each class of licence. But basically there are 2 different classes. P1 (Red Ps) and P2 (Green Ps). These are drivers that are new to driving. In NSW (Where I live) Drivers on a P1 licence are on their first year of driving and drivers on their P2 licence are on their 2nd or 3rd year of driving.
Nicky the legit reason: it stands for provisional* , and puts restrictions like no alcohol consumption and curfews on what time you can drive.
Provisional licences in between learners and an "open" license. they have more conditions on them compared to an open one. things like a blood alcohol limit of 0 and depending on the state speed (only allowed to go 90km/ph) and power to weight ratio limits.
