Hello Robert my friend. Thanks so much for the shout-out and kind words. You are such a big supporter of this Goldwing / CZcams family that we belong to. It sure don't go unnoticed. Road Glide is also a VIP in out world of videos and comments. Although he don't post videos himself, he do support so many of out channels and shares such amazing comments. One comment from Road Glide and we want to jump on our bikes and go create another video immediately. Awesome fellow. I follow all the channels you listed and have become friends with them all. Great people, sharing a love for motorcycles and spreading positive content. Gold Ryder One posted a fantastic video and was right on the money with his comments. I encourage others to follow his channel and listen to his message. It's nice to see so many of you guys out sharing coffee and breakfast and I am in the process of planning a trip within the next year. Thanks again and Ride Safe.

Had to come back and reiterate that your custom Ultimate Saddle is absolutely spectacular Robert. The custom color is gorgeous. The Ultimate cats really know how to craft a saddle. Fit & finish is top shelf. At this juncture it might feel close to the OEM. I have a hunch “over time” it will break-in nicely & coalesce with the deep seated feeling you are getting and enjoy. Only enhancing that beauty. Kudos for your purchase.

Today I had my 2nd gas fill up since getting my baby.. VERY surprised about how great mileage is with a GW. Got 46.738 MPG with 2 up running 65-75mph. Glad today was show and tell day since I got to show off my new to me bike. We will be back....

Early morning is the best time to be out. Your helmet audio sounds good until you drop the face shield, then it becomes bassy and muffled. I wonder if the Purple Panda wouldn't be better inside the helmet. That wing is sounding great.

100% agree with you Robert on Gold Ryder One! His latest perspectives are spot on. Would love to see Mac of Gold Ryder One and Larry of Gold Wing Moments. Klim Marrakesh! You are right. As you know I have the Klim Baja S4 and love them! I also have several pairs of Klim’s K51 jeans (D30 L2 armored) and love them as well. Klim’s designs are technical fabrics, robust quality with a relaxed cut for the American market. The Marrakesh are specific hot weather gear. Thank you so much for the mention. You are a leader, consummate pro, a stand up guy, a wonderful husband, father and friend. You lead by example. I’m going to reach out to Tom and see if he’s up for a ride next Sun. When I bought my 1500, I thought it would be my last, but it was totaled after I was rear-ended in Wyoming. Then came the '03 1800, which I thought would take my to the end, but along came the 2018. Uh oh! The salesman that sold it to me recently said, "You know how many times I've heard that." By the way, your audio is great with your faceshield up, but it is a bit muddy or muffled when it's down. Nonetheless, I very much appreciate your videos.

Hello Robert, thanks for your video. Your audio was great with the face shield up, but definitely not as good with the face shield closed. Being honest, I find the same thing with my set up. Interesting you mentioned Cruiseman is checking the DJI wireless mics. I’m looking at both the RODE Wireless GO2 and the latest DJI wireless mics and currently leaning towards the DJI, but still reviewing various CZcams videos for my education. Once I get my audio/video configuration stable and reliable, my hope is to start vlogging; that’s assuming I can get my arms around video editing. I hope the CPA test goes well. I retired just over a year ago, so I’m done with courses and testing. Have a great week, James.
Jim thank you for watching and commenting. I completely agree with you about the audio, I'm going to have to find another solution for when my helmet shield is down. As for the CPA, oh lord I passed that test 30 years ago and have been an active CPA all this time. What was due today was just the require continuing education (40 hrs per year) that I seem to always wait until the deadline to get in :) Good luck with the audio decision and the video editing will certainly come to you quickly. I use Final Cut Pro Ten.

Hello Robert, Happy July 4th to you and your family. After watching several CZcams videos, I purchased the DJI Go2 mic package. I'm liking the quality and looking forward to testing the system out on my next ride. By the way, I too was looking for a cooler riding jacket and just purchased a Sedici Federico 2 Mesh jacket. Again, I will check it out on next ride, but so far I'm impressed with the quality. The price too was very reasonable from Cycle Gear.

the 1100 seem to be very wide IMO I had one and never felt comfortable because it was a wide seating position... in the end I got a 2023 Goldwing just like yours...

George it's the end of October... Teddy Bear Ride hosted by The Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County and Harley Davidson. If the weather is decent we get 700-900 bikes out there. Come join us. I'll be posting info later.
