If the ownership lets the manager put together the team he wants, he's happy.
If the manager utilises his players properly, works with them to improve their individual and team skills, and creates a positively challenging atmosphere for them to stretch their potential, the players will be happy to play hard there.
This brings success to the team, which makes the fans happy, and increases the fanbase, and thus the support the team receives.
That increase in interest and support in turn increases revenues, which ought to make the owners happy.
Clearly, the owners and the executive have been gobsmacked by the success this great team has enjoyed under Pochettino, and instead of allowing him to continue crafting this team into a champion, they've panicked.
Too used to being "second rate", the "best of the rest", and similar bullshit. Grab the stash and get out now.
The players they've sold rather than pay to keep playing tell this tale too clearly.

The difference between Jose & Pep is that: Mo is a brave coach and manage teams when they are in a bad period even if they are top clubs. Not like Pep takes stable teams with guaranteed trophies like he did in Barca & Bayern .. if jose wants only adding more trophies he could join Paris san German , Bayern , or Juve
So you have to look at the “football heritage” of the team before the coach arrival and the club objectives at a certain time to judge the coach success ! Therefore, Mo time in Madrid should be consider successful & Pep time in Bayern as failure!

He guarantees success because of how he manages the players and the football is played. It is a case that he is too good for the lesser teams. The quality his system requires need the best players. It is why players like Sagan, clichy, Nasri, hart had to go when he came to city.

Bailey? Lindelof? Do not act as if he didn't get the CBs he wanted. None of his transfers worked...Pogba, Lukaku, Dalot, Matic, Fred, Sanchez, I could go on. The whole club is a shambolic and the Premier League has moved past Jose's defensive tactics that worked a few years ago. Even the likes of Bournemouth, Brighton are now playing possession based football.

    1) Nobody at the club is in a rush to sell any of the players he mentioned so I don't see the relevance of whatever point he's trying to make.
    2) We are not close to challenging Manchester City and Liverpool.
