Thanks Kent, In these times of inflation heading toward a new depression, your cooking has been a life saver, i am eating good, healthy food that satisfies me while being cheap, Do Americans have an American of the year award?
If you do then you deserve one.
Not a single person from any other country on earth (Even my own) has helped me as much this year as you have and you didn't even intend to, that's what i call the American spirit.
Thank you so much for the kind words and it is an honor to help people, to cook for others and spread a little happiness in every recipe
@@CowboyKentRollins You keep doing what you do sir! You are making so many people happy with full bellies with your wholesome recipies.

Mr Rollins I work for a fire department in Oklahoma. When I’m at work and we can’t decide what to do for dinner(which is nearly every shift) we start pulling up your videos for ideas. We have cooked so many of your recipes and not one has failed us. Soo good everytime. We loves your videos. We sometimes find ourselves watching hours worth of your videos. We can’t wait to see what kind of dance you do at the end. 😂 Thank you sir for keeping us fed and entertained!

I say this with no hyperbole or irony:
This man is a national treasure. Good, simple food. Prepared with no arrogance. Accessible to any walk of life. Just wholesome feelings and down home cooking. The world needs so much more of this positivity (especially in these trying times). I'm not a religious or spiritual man by any stretch. I still say Kent Rollins is a blessing

I am British and I could listen to Kent's accent all day long! 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸
Accent hell thats how everbody talks in oklahoma 😂 i talk in my british accent
What accent?
@@jimmyjames7174when he's "in character" he plays it up, but he's doing a sterotypical "cowboy" accent. I guess it has Texan and other western roots but most would call it a Texas accent. But like I said, Kent is accentuating it for the video, he doesn't actually talk like that when he's not performing. He's a nice guy and way more well spoken than you might assume from his videos alone.
@@cheyneyharp5097"that's how everyone talks in -INSERT REGION NAME HERE-" that's literally what an accent is, isn't it?
American Southern accent is actually an ancient Scottish accent. This was how those people spoke in England before they settled Jamestown Virginia back in the 1600s.
I'm an English teacher in Thailand, I love showing students Cowboy Kent videos to teach them about American culture and our wonderful variety of regional foods and accents :)
Thanks for the great content for my classes!
Hello From the Deep South, I made y'all's fried onion burgers today on my Weber kettle with a griddle plate. This was absolutely the best burger I have ever made (and I have made thousands of burgers). I love outdoor cooking and history so anytime I can cook something 'historical', it is a win-win situation! I truly appreciate your channel and the recipes and stories you provide us. Keep doing what you do! God Bless...

I picked up on that too...you can tell Kent watched Justin Wilson cook when he was a youngin' LMAO!
Gained about 20lbs just watching😋
My husband was looking for a mini grill like Bertha. He like something small when our son and he go on their adventures.
Our oldest son is in the military and is grateful for your show of respect for the military at the end of your clips! Heart warming💞
God Bless♥️
There’s a small stainless steel grille you set over charcoal or wood, handles 6 to 8 patties. Google it.
Always appreciate the way Cowboy Kent remembers to thank the military and the vets. He does it with sincerely appreciation. As a Vet , Thanks!!!
I'm a born and raised in Mangum! So cool to hear you give it some recognition! Sadly the Hamburger Inn burned down several months ago. My understanding is that they will be rebuilding it. But it still a sad day for so many when this happened. 😔 Love your recipes and videos!!
I hope none of the cooks were caught in the fire. We can't afford to lose their original recipe
Did they ever rebuild? I really want one of those burgers.
They are not rebuilding the hamburger inn but all the cons relocated to a place in Willow,ok called Haystack diner. So basically same food just different location and name. We make our own onion burgers and it's just as good!
@@mrsbradley2u sorry to hear that they didn't rebuild, but if I'm in OK I'm still gonna look for one if these burgers. I'll have to settle on my for now with some of these Walla Walla onions I've got.

it looks so sooo good
That sure looks and sounds like a good burger! I come from Sweden and we do not have the same burger traditions as you, but I still remember my grandma really making a ton of fried onions for our moose burgers. Your video made me remember that.
Now, moose burgers get very dry so what she did was putting a LOT of butter on top of the patty and let it melt down into it. When the patties were finished, she´d put sliced onions in the pan and let them get soft from the after-heat. When eating, I´d say it wast 30/70 onions and meat. And cooked potatoes, since it is Sweden.
No critique, just sharing lovely memories. Keep the burgers going! :D
Yeah and being a Canadian hockey player I loved watching Swedes and Danes arguing over meatballs, both great
@@geospg That is a very dangerous topic. The Swedes and the Danes love to battle it out, but any third party intervienence will lead to us joining forces and in true Viking style slaughter that person.
Then we are on our own again and can continue with slowly killing each other. I am not sure why life is like this, but have accepted my fate.
Is moose tasty?
@@CTPELOK_U3_KPOKYCA I´d say so, but i grew up on it. It is very dry though, no fat. Calf meat is the best. Personally I think deer is tastier.

I made these for my wife and daughter tonight. I surprised them. Now they usually really like my cheeseburgers but this was different. My wife's eyes widened and she mumbled "oh my God this is good..".... But the best is when my 16 year old daughter took a few bites and didn't say anything and then put the burger down and said "Dad this is like a spiritual experience, this is the best burger you've ever made, can you make this for my friends when they come over?" After we finished supper I showed them the video that showed the childhood hamburger stand you used to go to and the story behind it. That made it even a better suppertime. Making and sharing great food with my family and a little fun love and history along with it. That is what life is about, thank you Kent.

An Oklahoma onion burger place opened up here in San Diego and I got to try this style of burger for the first time…and several times after, and it truly is a great unique take on the burger. Amazing how much that onion flavor (in its sautéed and sweetened aroma) sings in the bun, the patty and onions. Truly a delicious burger recipe to try!
