When you think a pellet is a bullet, you know you're from the UK 😂😂
Pellet/bullet is semantics ... What is important is the energy of the projectile.. which is driven by it's weight and speed ... Some airguns are surprisingly powerful..
bruv he knows the different betweem a pellet and a Bullet but he can't buy and own a certain gun, the only thing UK can have is a rifle or a shotgun for hunting and stuff like that
Now we need a knife proof phone for London
@ToolkiT73UK nice try, but a pellet is not a bullet
@@ToolkiT73UKYeah, except the maximum allowed energy transferred from an air rifle pellet is 16.27 joules, meanwhile a 9mm luger transfers around 470 joules. I'm sure you now understand why you're very wrong.

While your rifle has a loaded spring you should ALWAYS hold the barrel when it’s folded, if someone malfunctions the barrel will fcking launch up and with a powerful rifle (what this one is just 12 foot pounds so you’re fine) can transfer the momentum from the barrel to the entire rifle and it’ll flip outa you hands and might hit your face
Meanwhile in America: This phone is apparently bulletproof. So to test that we got the nuclear launch codes right here. Let's nuke it.

airguns are nothing compared to a real combustion gun. the biggest air rifle pales in comparison to the insane power of even the smallest glock.
Not really since some of the air rifles coming out today shoot the same size bullet at about 1100 fps look up ed gun leshy he has some good videos I thing the smallest Glock is a 22 witch some air rifles are much more powerful
@@Atlas.is.1 my mistake, some of the newer air rifles like texan ss seem to have up to 500 ft-lbs muzzle energy, glocks about 300-500, which still isn't bad. the point i was trying to make is that airgun != firearm, therefore testing it with one and saying it's bulletproof is a mistake.
Well i mean like still withstanding the force without any major deformation could still provide significant cushioning for smaller calibers no one really expects this thing to block anything bigger than a 9mm amd thats probably a one-time block, at best this thing will only stop a .22 comfortably.

You got to try it in the USA. The “Bullet” is a pellet here. And the bullets here would shatter that phone like glass.
Ehh the phone back seems to be about 1/2cm thick of Titanium so it can stop up to 9mm fmj pretty soundly once you go up from that its gonna have a harder time and will start takeing Serious damage.
It's a pellet here too, he just doesn't know anything about airguns.
It'd be a pointless test given it'd already be a forgone conclusion, even if an actual bullet didnt fully penetrate the phone the electronics would still be fucked
@@dijital4801 pretty sure they don't actually believe it is going to save the phone just "stop a bullet" it is marketing. The back: "I'm indestructible!"
The screen: "Breaks on first drop..."
Even though the fps was high, it doesn't mean it had much force behind it, it just means it had high velocity, for instance, if you shot it with a .22 air rifle, the pellet might pack a bit bigger punch, this might give you a better result.
"most powerful air rifle you can get under legal limits" so in the U.K. that means a water gun
"This rifle shoots up to 800 FPS"
Every guntuber: "That's cute"
Every American (and fps Russia): “that’s cute”
that is right in the ballpark of a 1911 pistol (two world war ans still used by special forces). Energy = m x v. A. The pellet is 8 grains and a 45ACP is 230 grains. Hell, a compound bow "only" shoots 250-325fps but canshoot right through a dee's hide ribs heart lungs and come out the other side.
Even the us we have air rifles that shoot faster than that
A good example is my legacy 1000, shoots 1,000 ft per second

If the outside is tough, but the inside is squishy, the inside will move around like maracas 🪇.
