$600 Porsche 928: Installing After Market Seats

- In this video, I begin tackling the interior of my 1984 Porsche 928S. Sticking with the theme of this cost-conscious build, I chose to install aftermarket seats from Amazon instead of having the trashed seats reupholstered. It was a fairly straight forward process and I hope those who try this at home can learn from my mistakes.

Wow such an improvement! One wonders why anyone would let a car go to hell like that. At least cover it up with towels on the inside. I have never owned anything a mess like that. God bless you for restoring it the best you could. I know its an on going project.
I'm interested in seeing g how difficult it eould be to install 991 911 OEM seats. They see like a great design that fits the styling of the 928's interior.

How did your seating height change, if it did at all?
I didn't notice a height difference. If anything, I feel lower and more connected to the car.
@@Rurik_JustCruzn I’ll probably replace at some point. Mine are not torn up but I have a tall sitting height, have to tip seats back to not hit my head…or I could do sunroof delete…
Can’t you just flip the bracket that you made for the driver side??? It SHOULD clear up that parking brake cover by an inch and a half…👍👍
