Used to watch this on video with my dad all the time. He passed away couple of years back. Love you dad. Wish we could watch this one more time.
one of the greatest comebacks in finals history
Nah brother its THE Greatest comeback in NRL history 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️
Watches that game and it was in this game i started supporting Dogs since than and remain a Life time fan..
I'm dragons fan. This is the greatest comeback ever. I never write the bulldogs off even if they are last on the table. They are probably the only club who can do a houdini come back from nowhere.
What a game what a team. These memories will never come back again. I miss NRL the game that was full of big hits big fights
The 2022 bulldogs team need to watch this see what it means to be a bulldog
add '03 to that, but it's a different game now. The focus and goals are more about personal ambition than team work.
Also this was at the end of a series of comeback wins in the finals for the dogs, i remember a similar thing against newcastle i think the week before
I honestly find the Newcastle game to be more dramatic and exciting than this one.
The game against Illawarra in round 24 followed by the 1st elimination final against St. George set the tone for Canterbury’s final series. Down 12-0 in both games before coming back to win while leaving the opposition dead on their feet.
What a great memory of this game and seeing it again is special
As a Eels fan it was utterly traumatising (But not surprising). It is the only time i have cried openly as a man. Been to family & good friends funerals & no tears but the Eels in finals & GF matches 2001, 2009, 2022 build you up to let you down. Excuse me while i have a quiet aneurysm.
Best bulldogs final
Any other team played that grand final the bulldogs would’ve won.
But no one was going to stop the Broncos in that grand final.
greatest Broncos team of all time
@@ajmage5319 i wish I was alive to see it
Paul Carige was a good player but his brain explosions during that game will be his legacy. Even the diplomatic Sterlo during commentary got mad and said he'd made some of the dumbest plays ever made in a game of rugby league.
Scapegoat. Simon missed field goal from in front. Hollywood missed a blatant dogs forward pass for a try.
This is the history of the Eels since 1986. They can play well all year, be one of the top teams, but when it comes down to the most important moment, when it really matters, they capitulate.
Rod Silva 💥
Best part was we HATED parra for taking 5 of our best.
AND
Parra were the only team that had (or could) beat Brisbane that year. And we took that away from them in the most devastating manner possible haha!!
Bill Harrigan greatest ref of all time
Paul Carige played a great game for Canterbury that day!
Doggie for life
4:25 Why would you kick it?
Were absolutely pumped in the GF the following week by Brisbane. As Parra would of been as well.
Brisbane looked and proved to be unstoppable that year XD
I’m gonna go ahead and call that Brisbane side the greatest RL side of all time. No one would have beaten them in that Grand Final even if Parramatta beat them in the second week of the finals.
@@user-rs4gr9yq4u agreed. That Broncos side was insane.
Both teams vying for the chance to get belted by the Broncos.
When will Parramatta win there next Premiership? 🤔🤔
Will penrith be able to afford the refs next year as well?
