As a die hard new south Welshman, you guys have serious talent and nothing but my respect. While we are rivals in origin we share the great sport of rugby league
Whenever I have a bad day.. I always watch Queensland's greatest moments and it always makes my day... Maroon till I die...greetings from PAPUA New guinea 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
For me, I reckon Brent Tate's try at number 10 should be higher just because of its significance. That try sparked Queensland and got them their first Origin series win in 3 years that year. Then on they went with nine straight after that.
Absolutely, Qld had no right to win that game with all the bad calls against them in that game. For me the greatest try was number 7. I think Qld ended up playing with 12 men. 2 broken legs or something and Meninga broken cheek bone? Lewis was incredible.
@@murray7584 two in hospital before half time. Vautin replaced in the break, didn't come back. Bobby Linder eventually succumb to a fractured tibia. Hancock to a fracture collar bone. Played the last 5 mins one man short.
Billy Slaters chip and chase try still give me tears and goosebumps to this day, as he is from the same hometown as me Innisfail, too deadly Billy I watch it over and over just to hear Rays voice in the commentary makes it makes it sound so deadly gives me goosebumps😍😍😍 ❤️❤️❤️💪🏿💪🏿😁
Remember my family who werent as into league being like who is this Billy guy and I was like just watch him. Then he pulled this off and I looked like a savant.
So many of these tries were when QLD were behind with less than 10 minutes of play left. It just shows why we have been so dominant over the last 20 years. The never say die spirit was engraved into the Queensland psyche a long time ago, and I don't see it ever leaving. I couldn't wipe the smile from my face the entire video either. I BLEED MAROON!!!
Greg Norton QLD dominant over the last 20yrs??? cool story bro. let me tell you the real one, goes like this... Qld dominant the last 10, NSW 15 before that, QLD 10 before that, NSW 80 before that. Your welcomes
If you want to brag about some shit that happened 15-80 years ago, go for it bud. I can remember all the names of the players in QLD's teams for the last 10 years, can you for the NSW team from 1940?
Dave Be dont be such a silly goat. qld never produced that many fucking players to start with you imbecile. if they did the nsw league teams would have joined an all powerful qld competition. but nope, it was the other way around because nsw is, always has been and always will be the rugby league powerhouse of the world. just facts son, just facts.
You saved the best 2 for the last.. Billy Slater's individual brilliance and the last where it started and ended with Mark Coyne, that still keeps me at the edge of my seat.. Miracles do happen in Rugby League.. thank you for this awesome memories... Qld the mighty Maroons... love you forever..🥰😍🤩
Even though I grew up in Victoria’s AFL and am not a traditional follower of NRL, I have to admit that’s one of, if not THE best highlights package of skilled athletes I’ve ever seen!
How good is Tony Carrols at #4? The length of the field lead up, the string of passes and it's the game winner? Perfect. Coynes will live forever purely on Rabs commentary. "That's not a try, that's a miracle!!!!!!!!!"
Love that #1 started with Coyne on the right...shifted all the way left and back again to finish with Coyne after most of the team touched it. A true team effort
Was only a kid when Greg Dowling scored of the crossbar from a Lewis kick ! Also broke my little ❤️ when Lewis retired from Origin...vowed I'd never watch Origin again, just wouldn't be the same without him! But....MAROON is thick in my veins !!! #QUEENSLANDER
I am by far the noisiest in my household when watching my maroons or qld teams going round, my husband is much quieter, until he says, "he is out there again" and we crack up, when you watch Alfie following the Broncos around on the field, he is so close sometimes, I know one day he will be thrown the ball. He is so funny, he can't help himself! Oh that miracle try, it's a "miracle"
Its 2k23 and I'm still thankful that my father was a big fan of Meninga because he followed his performance into State of origin...I would do the same and so do my children. Iv already bought tix for Game2 June21 queeNZland
The names mentioned here like Dallas, Mogg, Shearer and Coyne bring back so many memories. The one we’re Green was playing at hooker really hurts the most. RIP Paul Green. Queenslander 💪🏼
Everything happens for a reason. Cyclones, floods, drought and heat has made us battle ready. We stand together as 1 in good times and bad. Mateship is in our DNA. You can't coach it. Queenslander.....
Personally don't want to remember any Qld tries but the Slater kick and gather is hard to beat for all time tries. In for a great Origin this year, aging legends against huge pack/average backline. Can't wait to see Klemmer vs Napa!
No doubt coyne's try should be at no.1.. I was at the game where matty bowen intercepted that ball too score the match winning try, was bloody awesome, but for me it has too be Bretty Dallas's try in the 95' series, Qld weren't given a chance to even win a game let alone win the series 3-0... "They won't catch him, he's like grease lightning".......QUEENSLANDER!!!!!!!!
My all time favourite one..... Matty Bowen.... Less than 5 to go, NSW ahead by 4, NSW 2 from the line, Bowen intercepts and absolutely flies down to his end and scores. 98 Metre sprint for little Matty Bowen
That look on the chief's face after the no.1 try said it all. Priceless. Thin blue line gets thinner still and coming from a kiwi rl fan, dont worry, be happy. Theres always another ummmm 7years. Yipppppppiiieeee
Rabs is a class act of course, but a special mention for Darrell Eastlake he was such an under rated comms; the late 80's early 90's he was the king still makes me smile... 'Meninga standing like a collossus' 🤣
Dave Be ah, no he didnt, played in hunter first. he is nsw all the way my friend, just a bitter turncoat dog. only qld would be happy to have someone with such shit values as one who pisses on their family and his own roots.
Albert Kelly how is he allowed to play for QLD? didn't know that.. your comment about "only QLD would be happy" is funny as fat people falling over not bitter are you. no N.S.W has never had a Queenslander play for them yea pigs arse 9 out of 10 baby 9 outa 10 gee that must suck for the kids in NSW imagine going all the way through primary or high school and not win an origan serious lol guess that's why they call them the blues.. haha
Imagine the fear of all those fullbacks when big Mal was in the clear. He doesn't know how to sidestep. Behind only Greg Inglis for natural ability, in my opinion. That run of Inglis fending Gasnier off like a fly, then the winger, then draws the fullback, dude's a freak.
I would love to see this video re-done. I have no argument with the order or anything, I love this video, but there are better quality source videos around now, and take our Mighty Maroons memories to the next level
My favourite moments are those in which NSW commentators are washing the balls of NSW players and while they're doing it, Queenslanders are scoring tries.
This video could go for 10 hours, I'd still watch every last second of it. Queenslander for life.

"The little man goes in and Lewis has gone mad" is straight up great commentary.
It brings a tear to the eye. Go QUEENSLAND!

Love that almost every modern day QLD try, Thurston had a major part of it.
Matty Bowen's 2005 series winner still gives me shivers 9 yrs later. Great compilation, loved it. Thanks
TheBanjomandolin wish it were true but unfortunately wasn't a series winner . we lost that year
same with the ben hunt try
Wasn’t a series winner. QLD’s dominance started in 2006 and QLD were looking down the barrel of losing 4 series in a row.
So many of these tries were when QLD were behind with less than 10 minutes of play left. It just shows why we have been so dominant over the last 20 years. Lockyer, is without a doubt, the greatest player I’ve ever seen.
I really hope Billy comes back. I've watched this so many times I'll never get tired of it. I wish it went longer.
all wonderful Qld tries, but the ball security in the "miracle" try, is superb! QUEENSLANDER!

Made even better by from memory Steve Roach calling game over for NSW a few minutes earlier.
So many sad New South Welshman ... This brings me so much joy!
Love that #1 started with Coyne on the right...shifted all the way left and back again to finish with Coyne after most of the team touched it. A true team effort
the best for my money too
The best thing about mark Coyne try was that the Queensland backline combined with there forwards there nothing better
That last 1 will forever be the greatest marrons origin try ever.
Great video. I think Locky's try has to be number 1 because it won us the series. The two ahead of it came from a series that we lost.
The number 1 try brings back memories, especially Fatty yelling "Ohhhhhh yeaahhhhhh!! Classic.
Best sporting team ever!

I’m watching this, remembering where I was and who I was with for each one.
just seeing isreal folau's try made me wish he was still in league
He's coming back to league next year 😊
Taleah Smith lol no hes not he is staying in union
Taleah Smith and he's still in Union 😂😂
Well there was a chance fro him but the nrl are being dumb cunts
He gets twice as much in Union OS. And I'm not sure League needs his rampant homophobia as a back drop to a team.
Wow so many greats, so many great tries, i remember game1 '94 like it was yesterday, that try sums up what qld are all about 😎👍👏
If you like that, you should see the NSW most memor....
nevermind.
H0tchips your right, there isnt enough tape to cover almost 100yrs of domination
Albert Kelly LOL. Last night alone beats the entirety of the NSW highlights!
Rod May lol indeed!
The cocky county greatest tries of all time would only have 2 or 3 in the list.

Happy to see that Greg Inglis had 2 trys or tries in this video. Could also give Greg 'an assist' in the try that Darius Boyd scored.
