Jason - while the FAA language is a bit confusing, you and the RP team have made it easy to follow along. Thanks for the plain talk. So far, I’m okay with the direction we are going. I see the big picture slowly moving from a hobby with potential serious consequences to a hobby and profession with serious remote pilots. Is all this a barrier to entry? Perhaps.... but don’t we want to keep irresponsible remote pilots out while bridging the gap between an airborne toy and an aircraft? I think while making rules a little more stringent, the FAA is paving the way for more freedoms for the serious remote pilot. I can fly. I can fly over people and moving cars. I can fly at night without a waiver. (In the next 18-30 months) Seems like we are headed in the right direction if you ask me..... just my 2 cents.... today.... Thanks for what you do!

I agree with the rule, as with flying and filming in BLM areas, I sometimes end up flying over people or campers to get to the back side of them. When you are in hilly vegetaded areas, and you are watching your drone, sometimes you can't help it. So, it's a good rule, and I can see where they are adjusting for businesses such as Amazon. You doctor has a telehealth with you for reviewing a serious blood pressure problem. he calls the pharmacy, and 25 minutes latter your updated prescription arrives via drone. What got me into the drone business was a horrible hail storm we had in 2017. The insurance company never sent out an adjuster. They told me a drone would be by that Saturday, and sure enough, a drone flew around my house, and property, and 2 days latter, I had the check in my bank account. I thought it was amazing. of course the neighbors were a bit curious.

Hello 👋 I see the rules follow what the FAA knows ! Apply as you see the changes, but it works in General Aviation. Commercial 107 will be time in type ( Category) Pilot log , aircraft’s log , equipment, Airworthiness Directives Ramp Cking, it’s all there 👍Which fits Charter 135 operating Manual ! ☝️ Family owned FBO 👍 Experience! More to Come!

So as I understand this the only sUAS devices that would qualify under these categories are "ducted fan" style devices, since it seems that the prop guard style covers on traditional sUAS don't meet the requirements. Who even makes a quality "ducted fan" style sUAS?

I'm so very glad they broke out "transit" flight versus sustained flight! Is this broken out for flight over people as well? I don't recall that "transit" flight over people being in that people video

The slide you're using needs to be edited since there are several "O" characters that should be deleted. The slide also has too much information for one slide, and should be split among two slides. Still great information that you're passing on, and I can't wait for the new website to be up and running!!
