Hey thanks for the video! I’ve been feeling a little down because the jobs aren’t coming in as they were and I’m trying to make this a full time job because it is my passion especially real estate. Thanks for the encouragement! I couldn’t get to where I am currently without your amazing Remote Pilot 101 Course!

Jason is spot on when he says he and his team help students pass the 107 with a high score and pass the first time. I took the MzeroA course and it was money well spent. I passed the first time and with 90%. The flight school said to me "That score is golden". A naval aviator that tested in the session before me passed with 92%. I'd like to elaborate a bit, substantiate why it was money well spent when there are tons of free CZcams videos on the subject matter, as well as books for sale. MzeroA's material is up to date, saving hours of time wasted trying to weed through inaccurate out of date content...it's super important to be educated with up to date and accurate content. Additionally, the MzeroA methodology is that of learning how to be a good and safe pilot above and beyond simply learning how to memorize content with the sole objective of simply passing the 107 exam. Understanding, and practicing sound principals and concepts of aviation is just as important for unmanned flight as it is for manned flight. During your studies never dismiss the knowledge presented about manned aircraft, even if it does not appear relevant to a small unmanned aircraft (drone). It can be critically important to understand the intentions and capabilities or lack of capabilities of an airplane or helicopter in your drone mission area. It's good to understand what their next move might be, what an airplane or helicopter is or isn't capable of. As a remote pilot in command I must remain cognizant of the fact that it's my responsibility to not interfere with a piloted aircraft. I truly believe the MzeroA statement of "A good pilot is always learning". This world of aviation is truly exciting and fascinating!

Solid advice Jason. You have been so much help, and giving so much inspiration! I’m struggling a little bit right now, but just hearing your words of wisdom helps me out. I hope to turn my passion into profit. Keep doing what you do. I don’t care what Ken Heron says about you.😂

Great video Jason,👍 I am part 107 certified and I fly at work to take progress photos, identify safety issues, as well as Quality Control. I agree with you though "follow your passion" 👌 although I love helping at work, what I do outside of that in nature is where I really have a good time. I guess my point is to explore all styles before settling with one. You hit all the right points 👍 😎

Hey Jason. Hope all is well with you and yours. I think I might be looking for the impossible. I have just shy of 50 years in law enforcement and want so much to be still involved but with the drone. Sadly, local LE just uses active duty folks. Trying to develop another passion but that is a tough thing to do. I looked at CAP but they seem to cater to manned aircraft and I needed many multiple courses to even get close to being acceptable to them (no desire to fly myself, just the drone). Now a few weeks later I see them looking to train RPICs to work with FEMA. I’M already FEMA trained. Oh well, keep on plugging!

I’m looking to get into photogrammetry! It looks so fascinating. I’d also like to see what it takes to 3D scan objects with a drone. Thanks for the video! 🎉

I just finished a 3D Imaging class and all we did was 3D scan Maya artifacts. About two months ago I did some photogrammetry of a shipwreck on the Mississippi River. Sadly, my drone was broken for the shipwreck so it was all done from the ground. Its a ton of fun and I would suggest starting now with just regular stuff you have around the house using your cellphone. There are plenty of software options out there tor try too, from free open source to pay options.

Jason, Great video. You helped me get my 107 in 2016!. I have an off topic question. Not sure how to reach out to you, but headed off to Davenport FL next month and want to take my drone. Can you give me an idea where to look for local drone laws?
