This is a good historical example of the european Age of Enlightment, where a Renaiscance Man was making poetry using dirty slang words of the time.

These are actual dirty lyrics written in the 1700's. But now in the year 2023, is the first time someone actually sang them.
This is a poem from Manuel Maria Barbosa du Bocage, better known simply as "Bocage". This poem is a great example of the European Enlightment, in this case the freedom to write a poem using everyday XVIII Century's slang words, that were seen as immoral at the time.
Portugal lost this freedom in the 1930's because we had a facist-religious regime untill 1974, where you would go to jail and be tortured if you were not a fascist or catholic. This poem was not possible then, because it would offend the Church and the State Fascist Regime established moral order and code of conduct.
