    Thanks for posting this. I had no idea how to do this as the instructions are very limited. I followed your instructions and it works perfectly.

    Bravo for your attempt at the puzzle’ing instructions. Thanks.

    Just used one today. Bad design & lack of good instructions is just bad engineering. Had to make quite a few "field modifications to get it to work properly. Nice Job on the vid.

    Just installed one .. I am wondering how the heck a lock is supposed to work?

    • @bart_seavey
      @bart_seavey Před 5 lety

      The padlock holes are less than useless. Literally do nothing.

      @@mountaingoat6393 if you push the latch all the way to the right to the next notch. Then you put your padlock in the hole, and then it will be locked and you cant open the door.

    Thanks for posting the video. I got a question what prevents someone from pulling out the thumb lever part and taking it? Thanks

      @stephenwlodarczyk175  Před rokem

      Mine is a bit loose but the bar that the thumb leaver lifts obstructs the removal completely

    How somebody can make this and sell without any instructions? So frustrating. Not even a picture how it should look from the inside.

      Hope the video helped. Was my first video. I know it’s not professional. But if it worked than it did it’s job. I was also irritated.

    Hi. How thick are this gate?? I try build one but 2x4 are thick 1 1/2 and pickets on both sides are 1 5/8 so it’s 3 1/8 so I don’t know this latch system gonna work ??

    • @stephenwlodarczyk175
      @stephenwlodarczyk175  Před 4 lety

      Mr. Furex mine was 2X4. It should work okay. But you may need a thicker spade or auger bit
