I think that the F2 freestylers are a perfect example of this. There shooting, dribbling and ball control is Probably around pro level but maybe there off the ball movement and there tactical stuff isn’t at a pro level
Exactly
+Perfect Soccer I don't want luck.
Perfect Soccer There is no good or bad luck. There is only luck, and i don't want to depend on something that is out of my control,i want to relie on my own skills and movement.
Perfect Soccer If you meant it in that way, then thank you.
Perfect Soccer I subscribed to you bro. Your content is really good and informational.
only working on dribbling and juggling will turn you into freestyler with a youtube channel but not into pro😎
Henning Heitmann that will make you more technical the most important aspect of the game buddie
U got me wrong. I know how important technique is. If u got Ronaldinho dribbling skills but the rest is on "45 year old dad who starts football because of his 4 year old son"-level u won't make it far... Technique is very important but don't loose focus on the other aspects...
What if you’re the best on the ball Wenger has ever seen?
@@user-pk4dk8fx9n it doesn’t matter. You won’t make it far if not all your skills (technique, tactics, mental, athleticism,...) are on pro level. You have to be better in all these aspects than amateur players...
@@user-pk4dk8fx9n image if CR7 and Messi look like noob on the ball compared to you but you aren’t even fast on amateurs level the ball handling skill won’t interest pro team because you can’t get past the defenders at all. In this case this skill is pretty useless in a pro game on the pitch
i love the way your editing is improving each time
Amazing vid Matt. Glad to c ur back on ur feet again.
Can’t disappoint, another great video.
Your videos really relate to me
Great message. Great video idea and have to agree with you here. Really enjoyed
Great video matt!! Agree with everything. Glad youre back. Cant wait to the bext vid for teens!!!
Matt I never experienced a CZcamsr who included their fans so much. Thank you
Suddenly you've opened my eyes OMG Matt!!!
My best friend is a cm who moved to fc Porto last year and he can defend dribble pass shoot and is very fast and intelligent.
Thanks Matt, I've made this mistake & I've only been focusing on the attacking aspect of my game which has lead to everything else being way bellow standard.
Great Vid & a real eye opener.
Really helpful video matt :-)
Maat love to see you happy after many days ❤️⚽️
Vision and anticipation are the most important. Whereas technique and athleticism come along much more easily.
Great video man.Fast recovery
wow, nice video man and so eye opening but soo true
That is true, and I see it while I'am playing games
Great video man
Short vid, lots of info!! Good job
You should do more series like this👍🏻
Thanks for the vid!
Thanks for the tips
The graphs were so so good Matt, really helped to visualise :)
Too early for a two minute Tuesday... Multi minute Monday?
Nah cool vid tho matt
Simple topic but very important. Its important to focus on everything.
Cant wait for the other videos
Excellent video, I have seen too many players who are great at dribbling but can't pass, defend or run for even 60 minutes. Gotta have it all
Thanks for the info
Great video!
Being proficient in all areas is the one thing to focus on (great video)
Long time follower first time commenting, at least I think it's the first time. Great video! I had my first trial with a professional club abroad last week and that's the first thing that stuck out with me that just about everyone, irregardless of position can do everything to a satisfactory professional standard. Obviously players will have their own strengths but there isn't a massive discrepancy at the professional level as you were saying. It's a big wake up call playing with a professional squad, it really makes you aware of your own weaknesses. Not that that's a bad thing though!
Tritonal HD what is your age bro?
Tritonal HD What club did you trial for dude?
How did the trial go man?
Ur the best matt!!!
Love u bro
Do your own fifa ratings
Andrzej Grund lol yes
I’m 99
Don't forget to train your brain. A skilled, but unintelligent player is worthless
Colonial Soccer how can anyone train his brain?
How to you do that
Najjar Junior Game analysis
Najjar Junior watching game analysis of players who play your position and then in games/scrimmages or even pickup trying to implement that same information you've obtained. There are many great analysis videos on CZcams. I do film sessions with my college team, but only so often as it takes up time. Best they sit and watch themselves or who plays their position to increase their soccer I.Q.
Colonial Soccer Thank you
Versatility is the best ability ‼️‼️‼️
Good explanation!
nice video man
This is some good advice
Currently trialing with a pro team in Sweden (go follow for the journey), and all of what he said is true. The baseline of every skill needs to be high.
how’s it going
Loved it
3:17 slight Cruyff quote lol

Hey Matt, I am a 15 year old footballer on a mission to fulfil my potential of playing professional football which many people believe I can do. I’ve always been on the up but every time I seem to be in a good run of form I end up with an ankle injury. Ex; I will be playing really well and start to get attention from many when in games. I am a starting striker for my team and always have been since joining and my coaches know I can truly be a great footballer but every time I am at peak form, I sprain my ankle because of fractures in my growth plate and tibia when I first started playing at a high level. I have always gone by the wise words, “every set back is a set up for a comeback” and right now I’m still recovering from an ankle sprain that has prevented me from a tournament in Spain. But since I have my biggest and most important season coming up this summer, I’ve decided to use this time to recover and rehabilitate my ankle to the best I possibly can which might have been the problem looking back now. Do you have any advice that I can take in and use for my greatest comeback yet. Anyone else is free to answer I’m looking for everyone’s opinion ⚽️👊🏿
Malcolm Walters my opinion is it’s good ur talking high of urself but not as much as u are rn be humble man a good player always saying how good he is yes might be good in games but in life people won’t like u
Yes true Matt, but you still need to have strengths something you are really good at. Zlatan was a very good dribler when he was Young which made him stand out from the other kids.
Any tips on being more composed to play out from the back as a defender? I find that I'm hitting a lot of long balls.
when is the other videos coming? :))
Is the third part of this series already on the channel?
Wow man you even play Right winger😍
Thank to the video I train mostly mine resistance , agility , accuracy and awareness I want to surpass de bruyne you have mine word 👍👌👊
Best vid
This guy is straight up an work horse like how are you not in bigger leagues Jesus christ lol
and matt i have a big problem when im playing with my friends at home i use ma y skills and usually i play good but when im at college playing with other friends in futsal i don't know why i always lose the ball i don't use any skills im not confident enough i don't look up i just look at the ball when it's on my feet and the ball's gone i get tackled like instantly i don't know maybe it's my confidence i get so frustated i just say FML do you have any tips? ON how to boost your'e confidence or maybe drills to not lose the ball
i haven't even cracked up in the team yet Team selection has not been done yet
Nice video
I was wondering if yoga is an important thing for soccer players to do and if you could do a 2 minutes Tuesday video about it
troll lol ?
It actually is, not yoga but stretching. Stretching helps your muscles and is an important factor in letting you play the next day. You do it before, after training and before, after sleeping.
ily
Any update on the new program ? “Footballer physique” ?
Do more video
That's a lot of questions
FINALLY A “HOW TO GET FASTER” VIDEO
when are the t-shitrts coming out
I thought you explained it very well
How do I kick harder with my left weak foot leg
Sergio Ramos used to be an attacking player, many players played a different position before they become pros
I want you to play in malaysia leauge for the sabah team
Best video 🔥🔥 I
Where is the video about "How much should I train as a 13, 14, 15 year old kid?"? Thank you!
Matt overall I cN do everything I need to at the moment I’m still getting my touches but I’m no good at juggling is juggling import to my game?
juggling improves your first touch dribbling and being comfortable on the ball
Football is my life
Ramos is a legend ❤
So basiclly everything.........lol
Do your own fifa ratings. Do drills to see what your fifa rating should be
i agree to some extent. but to counter your point what about pirlo, scholes and xavi who aren't athletic? they'd probably have a score of 30 or 40 for athleticism but are regarded as some of the best central midfielders of their generation. do you really need to be at an exceptional level in all aspects of the game? or do you just need to play to your strengths (i.e in their case their vision, passing, spacial awareness) and avoid your weaknesses... can an exceptional strength counterbalance a weakness?.....
Maxinho I think you are underestimating how unathletic these players are. They still are very athletic and would probably be the faster, more athletic guys on an amateur team, but when constantly compared to players that are exceptional in athleticism like Ronaldo or Bale they appear unathletic. They aren’t exceptionally athletic, but they are proficiently athletic and then specialize in ball work, vision, and passing. Just like how Theo Walcott or Danny Welbeck aren’t unskilled, they are just exceptionally fast and athletic. They have good ball skills, but when compared to pirlo, xabi, or scholes they would look unskilled and be like a 30 or 40 is technique. If they were on an amateur team they’d be the most skilled player on the team. Look at who they are being compared against.
what's the song's name?
Hello, I am really wishing to become a pro, and have my heart set on it, and I am dedicated enough, I need your opinion on things I need to do, types of workouts, types of training, best way to recover after hard training, everything of the sort, thank you, and goodbye
Spazzy DeV
Same thing man I want to become PRO SOOO BAD I practice everyday for at least 2 hours I don’t care bout anything else just want to become pro so I can show my parents and my brother that I can actually do it and that I’m good enough

So A Goalkeeper needs to be good at scoring? One touch passing? Defending? Speed?
he was a striker before he made a position change right
❤️⚽️

Matt how I can only juggle up to 30 how can I reach to 1000 I’m juggling?
Btw it’s nice to see you back from the operation, now it’s time to shine!
to be quite honest, instead of spending that much time on juggling, you should do sprints, go on runs, agility training and other things. don't just focus on juggling. but you should juggle as many times as you can (each time you're going to practice shooting, bassing, ball control, etc.) and then you will be able to juggle a lot more (it will be natural)
The road of juggling from 0 to 30 takes just as long as from 30 to 500. I used to juggle 5 times only 7 months ago now my top score is 323, and that is using both feet. Juggle for 20 minutes every day and results will come
also the key is to be consistant
Thnx for your answer!!!!
I will put them in to practice today guys!
Thx and always be humble!
In about a year and a half, my juggling record went from 42 to 1271, and I didn't train that aspect harder than any other attribute, just do it daily and you'll see improvement, same with every other aspect in football
matt do you think that all the players in usl have trained and worked as hard as you do?
Good question
No
sergio ramos the king!
Matt, please help me here. My yard doesn't exactly accommodate soccer training and I keep shooting my ball over no matter what I do and the fields closest to me aren't in good walking distance, do you have any advice on how to fix this?
Gideon MJ Simple! Either you live with it or you Move. Stop making excuses. Yes this is one. I'm in same situation as you but I NEVER had a thought about it until I read your comment.
can you find a wall ?
Soccer/Football IQ is the best aspect to have.
dude do you i should quit soccer? I keep spraining my left ankle over and over again and it pisses me aoff. I'm currently injured and I have a tournament next month. What do you think I should do?
qqsdfghj You need to improve your balance because after you sprain your ankle it loses stability. If you don't improve your balance you'll keep spraining your ankle, I had the same problem.
qqsdfghj The same happened to me: I sprain my right ankle 3 times and my left ankle 1 time. That is why my physio told me to use an ankle support or a bandage, so that it wouldnt happen again. Now I always use an ankle support on my left foot and a bandage on my right foot every time I play (training and games) and I havent been injured again. It might be a little uncomfortable at first, but it is worth it. If you don't know how to bandage your ankle just search a youtube video or ask your physio.
First touch and one touch padding imo
