- In this video, I show how I created this Original Design Prototype of a Modular Vacuum Chamber using 2" PVC pipe, 2" PVC caps, silicone, and a brass barb fitting. I created this design for use in casting silicone molds and for casting resin. This design will evacuate air bubbles from both a mold, and from a resin casting. I plan to show how I use this assembly some resin creations in some future videos.

Anyone think I can use this design to perform the guinea and feather experiment if i used clear plastic or glass?
It can only be used for small casting, but is really nice and cheap : D! i will think about doing one! thanks!

Why would you split the tube in half, just to make silicone seals? Seams unnessary.
James Maness do you even know how silicone moulds are made?
Careful with that chop saw....I would be cautious about getting your left-hand thumb so close to the blade. Nice video!
