This is an amazing series. Enjoyed everyone of the three installments and learned a lot of stuff. Just a fantastic job.
Another great video I look forward to seeing more
Thank you Paul!!
I loved your series on the chassis builds they were very informative I have always struggled with how to get the bends right your series helped alot to understand
Many thanks Gerald!! Glad you found it helpful!!
Very detailed! Looks absolutely great!
Thanks Ron! Have'n fun! LOL
Turned out great. I’ve always wanted to build a chassis from scratch. With your tips and techniques maybe I will
Thanks bro!! Have fun!!
Thanks for the tips. Will probably use in different areas.
Thanks for watching Alan!
Hey Mark, just complete your 3 part chassis build from about 2 yrs ago. Loved it! I learned a lot, amazing detail! Thanks for a great teaching video. I'm 58 now and just getting back into modeling but with more detail than as a teenager lol.
Thank you very much my friend!! Glad it was helpful!! Glad you’re back!! Have fun!!!
Very cool! Those weldings look realistic 😎👍 Thank you for sharing this video.
Thanks for watching Asko!
I’ve watched a few of your videos and WOW!!! Really really awesome work. Thank you for the time and effort you put into each video.
Many thanks brother!!
Great work! And as a tool monger I have to get that K&S tubing cutter and decommission my old plumbing cutter!
LOL, I'm the same way bro! Tools are one of my weaknesses. Thanks for watching!
Man Mark the chassis looks fantastic. Love it, Ron
Thank you Ron!!
Since those bolts are brass, you can even drill an opening into the top for the hand crank to drop down into.
Thanks my friend!! Yes you can!!
Great video!!! Chassis looks Great!!! Love the weld lines!!!! I'll be watching
Thank you Michael!!
Fantastic build. Always impressed with your work my brother. Thanks for sharing your talent with us! Love ya! ♥️👍😁
Thanks my brother!! Havin fun! LOL! Love ya too!!!
Damn Mark! I am so impressed. Not only with your obvious talent for model building but also your video creation and V.O. delivery and content.
Many thanks Mike! I'm having fun doing sharing!
great videos as always, thank you for sharing.
Thanks bro!!
Your a different builder Mark. Your focus on realism and approach to building is different that most builders. I love your vids and your imagination. You have inspired me to tackle building my own frame from scratch on my next build. Thanks for what you are doing on youtube.
Many thanks for the kind words Terry! God's gifts come in many forms I guess! lol! Have fun on the chassis! A vid on aluminum floor pans will be coming soon. Thanks again for watching!
Awesome series, thanks for sharing.
Thank you!! Hope it was helpful!
Nice weld seam idea. I'm going to give this a try but with raised weld beads... Thank you!
Thanks Jason!! I use a touch extra glue when assembling the frame rails so there’s a small bead that pushes out for that purpose.
Have fun buddy!
Good job Commander! You might want to take a Sharpie and write on the wall where you put this one. 😉
LOL! Thanks Brother!! I need to do that with a number of things! hehe
Can't wait to see your tutorial on building the roll cage. Definitely gonna rewatch this chassis series again, when I try to build one. You are very informative and don't leave anything to guess about how things were done.
Many thanks brother! Glad you got something out of it! Thanks again for watching!
WOW , absolutely fantastic details. Those welds looks super realistic.
Thanks David!
Amazing work, as always. Looks very real.
Thank you my friend!! Havin' fun!!
Thank you so so much for these videos and the fab shop car. I have several incomplete "junkyard" vintage nascar kits and the idea of building a bare chassis has had my heart.. I just needed some light on how to achieve the raw look.
Thanks for watching Benny!! Hope it's helpful!!
Great vid Mark!!!!!
Thank you Tim!
Amazing work! Thanks for sharing Mark.
Thanks bro!
Thanks so much for this. I plan on using these techniques on some short track late model builds I've been wanting to try.
Thanks Jim!!
I love your work and how you explain it. I used your method of cutting fenders to fix my Torino I’m working on. Looking forward to seeing your process for making floor pans. I am applying some of your techniques in my current contest build. I cut the molded spring buckets and replaced with aluminum ones and made control arm mounts. Next I’m going to build control arms😬. Again, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! Keep the video’s coming.
Many thank brother!! Glad you find things helpful! Floor pans are coming very soon! lol! Thanks again for watching!
One ☝️ word
Awesome 👏
Many thanks Jeff!!
Wow that's Amazing very impressive
Thank you Ruane!!
Hey Mark,I’m pretty new to You Tube, I really enjoyed this chassis build, and learned a lot. I primarily build Drag cars, and can’t wait to try your techniques. I normally visit Model Cars Magazine forum and have posted some of my builds there, but the following seems to have really dropped off, so I started looking for other venues. My wife suggested You Tube and I honestly thought she was crazy, but turns out she was right. Thank for you your channel and I’ve subscribed.
Many thanks Roger!! Glad you find the content! Helpful!
Starting a CZcams channel was intimidating at first. It turned out to be easier than I thought! Give it a shot!
Neat weld techniques, Mark. That roll cage looks very realistic and frame details are very interesting.👍🤔 Thanks for showing and best wishes from jolly old England 👍😎Pete 🤓
Thanks Pete! Be safe brother!
@@MarkBatsonHobbydude007 I want to build a chassis for an imsa Cobra Mustang II, next year, so I'm collating as much info as I can. The kit was, originally, motorised, so all I have is big styrene slab😳🤣
@@petesmodelcarcustoms584 Sounds fun Pete! Gathering research info is fun for me!
PHENOMENAL WORK SIR !! Thoroughly Enjoying Your Amazing Skills, Thank You For Sharing n God Bless.
Thanks for the kind words and for watching Gary!
You're Very Welcome Sir.
Mark, you need to contact Jim at Salvino's and see if he needs some help designing, I'd recommend you for the job LOL
Thank you Shawn!! Jim is quite the master himself! Thanks again buddy!
Thank You Mark, for an informative tutorial; I can use this technique in other builds as well. I am currently building a Lancia Delta S4 rally car with many visible welding seams on the chassis. Regards from Denmark.
Thank you Nils!! I am glad you find it helpful!!
VARY VARY VARY INTERRESTING !!! @ ... .. . VARY BIG THANKS ... .. .
Thank you Kevin!!
I am more of a short-track dirt guy! Do you think that you maybe
might do some videos on that? I think that would be pretty cool?
I am a new subscriber, been watching all of your videos. Love'em
man! Can't wait until the next one. Thanks for these videos! Stay
safe & God bless...
Thank you Jeff!! I have been thinking about a late 70s dirt Mustang Chassis down the road. Also check out my buddy Clay Kemp's facebook page. Great dirt goodies there!!
I’m assuming you use real metal springs in the chassis. What type of metal springs, and where do you get them?
I use copper wire Michael. Role them around a small piece of tubing just smaller than the spring buckets. Then prime and paint them. Many thanks for watching!!
@@MarkBatsonHobbydude007 Thanks.
Mark, did you see the latest video from Luka Cee? He quit you tube video's guy.
Yes. I have talked with him about it and will be talking again today.
He Will be back!
