I realize this video is from one year ago, but I just had to watch this series again to refresh my failing memory on how to create these frames. You are an awesome source of fantastic information. Although I am not a huge race car fan, I am attempting to build my own frames for some of my new builds. I will be attempting to build a pickup that appears to be on air bags, with the ability to move from low rider stance to off road stance. Your videos on the frames is going to help me achieve that as it shows all the various parts to the frame. Thank you so much for sharing!

I really am enjoying this session of scratch building a chassis. I have built promods gassers and also just straight superstocks scratch bill. But I'm really enjoying watching you guys build your NASCARs. Now I have the itch to build a Richard Petty which I have in my collection. So looks like I'll be building right after you do. Mark,i'm learning here about the certain angles to cut to make the front & rear clip etc. Thank you for giving the # of degrees for each piece (20,30 etc.) Everything measuring out nicely front to rear & diagonally. I'm having a little problem keeping things level (sides or rockers sit flat but front corner sticking up a little) like a pretzel. Thanks

Talking about dremel melting styrene. I switched over to a nail “drill”. They’re fairly inexpensive, compared to “professional” flexible shaft grinders, and with a very low rpm and a foot pedal/switch, you just can’t go wrong.
Great video Mark. The frame construction is very informative and how you build the front suspension is awesome. Takes alot of imagination to make that work. Your eye for detail is awesome.

I don't do stock cars, although my first build, after my 50+ year hiatus, was Ernie Ivans Kodak car which I built pretty much from the box. I think I told you I'm currently rebuilding a 1:120 scale B-29 that I had built back in the 60's. If you remember, I told you I as I was taking it apart the bombardier fell into my blackhole under the bench. Anyway, some of the techniques you're showing will assist me in fabricating some missing gun turrets, a propeller and all landing gears. Thank you so much and please keep up the great video's. I always look forward to them.

Home resin 3D printers are getting so cheap, I think they’re going to be a must-have tool in a few years. Instead of creating a model file and uploading it to Shapeways, more people will sell those files directly to modelers to print themselves.
Amazing work. I love your method of doing the truck arm mounts and spring buckets. I’ve done a crude method of making working truck arm system work. I’m working on Smokey’s 69 Torino right now, and I’m going to use your method for spring buckets and control arm mounts and make my own upper control arms. Thanks! Keep the info flowing.
