Those brackets on the frame are required for crash standards because the front of the 2500 is so high, a small car could go underneath it in a crash. With the plow mounts you don’t need them.

Thx for that explanation - makes some sense.

Was there another part? Also, was this a straight 2500 or 2500 Heavy Duty? Great video tho!

There was another part that never got posted - mainly the headlight wiring which got to be a bit boring. Sorry. This is on a 2500HD

Where is part 3? I need to figure out this wiring and the directions are awful

I had the wiring video ready to upload then decided it was too boring so scrapped it. Go back and follow the wiring diagram closely. Install the module on each headlight and run the hot wire to the battery. Then connect I think the orange wire to a switch in the cab. This switch is turned on when you want to activate the lights which will not turn on until you actually turn on your truck headlights. It took me awhile to figure this out on my first install in 2016. (you can watch that video - Dec 2016 - "Meyer Plow & SaltDogg Spreader Install on 2016 Ram 2500"). I talk about the switch at about the 14:30 mark but still don't go into detail so probably not much help.

@@FarmerMD yeah I found you other video. I dont have a wiring diagram. They gave me nothing but 3 different wiring harnesses smh. I'm probably going to have to go back to the dealer and be like wtf lol

I know a guy that owns a hardware store that can hook you up with some drill bits. Let me know if you need an introduction?
That RAM is a very clean used truck. Too bad that Biden's inflation has driven up to cost of a used truck to close to what they sold for new, 3-5 years ago.
You might want to cross drill the mounting bolts to accept a cotter pin, then once everything is installed Fluid Film everything.

Why the hell didn’t you have the dealership put all that shit on that truck because but you doing it voids the warranty on the truck if you break something you can’t fix and if the dealership breaks it then they have no choice but to fix it
