I knew as soon as I heard him say he got a new radio for his truck the chainsaw was coming out
I love his radio installs, lol. The "make it work, screw everything else" attitude is just great.
Truth be told, I thought you were joking, for about 35 minutes. Biggest laugh this week I predict.
Wow I must be too new here - I was NOT expecting the saw to come out. Though I think the paint marker should have been all the foreshadowing I needed.... "Huh strange, he's marking it in situ...."
Two chain saws on bench for u joint repair. Andrew providing a little foreshadowing.
I got a grin on my face when I heard him say "new radio install"! My favorite line.... this new radio has ummm ummm it doesent have faceplate that keeps falling off! LOL
"the previous owner hacked up the wiring" as he cuts the dash apart with a chainsaw....love this guy
I almost spit my tea when i heard that just after chainsaw action
👌🏼👌🏼
What the hell
Never seen anything like that
the normal kind of dude would use a fein multimaster instead of a stihl..
Wonderful 🤣🤣🤣
A must have at all times at the shop list:
Sludge hammer.
Self tapping screws.
Pipe wrench the size of a fiat.
You forgot chainsaw lol
WD 40 and Brake cleaner
self tapping *hex head* screws. because we all know philips head self tappers strip for no reason
"Its got ... i Dont know, the face plate doesnt fall out of it, thats what its got."
Got flashbacks of my anti-tech elders in that. I laughed so hard.
Takes a chainsaw to the dash-“the previous owner hacked this wiring” 😂
I believe he just ONE-UPed the previous owner. 😂😂
And a few minutes later... "Truck got full of plastic somehow 🤔"
Dude I’m dying rn
Haha!!! 😂
Lmfao!!!!
When you said 'new radio' I was hoping for a chainsaw guest appearance and you didn't disappoint
Me Too😂😂😂
@@user-bj2br6id4e lmfao i was thiinking the same thing
Radio comes free with the chainsaw I think :)
I was thinking about the last chainsaw trick but i said to myself , he wont do that again! WRONG......haha
In which video used the chainsaw again for a radio install?
“that’s a pretty professional radio install right there...”
LMFAO, that was gold!
14 carat!
"They didn't give you anything to mount this."
They probably didn't expect you to mount a double din radio in a single din truck with a chainsaw.
Hey burn, what is a double din and single din? Probably a dumb question but I figured I ask. Thanks-
@@MaximusMerideus Single din and double din refer to the size of the radio. Single din radios are 2 inches high, and double dins are 4 inches high. Single din is a typical radio, the size that will typically be in older vehicles. Double din is basically just a double tall radio, which is a common size for touch screen radios.
@@kr00k3d100 My friend, thank you for responding to my question. I learned something new. Burn Victim Yoda, I hope you and you family have a healthy and prosperous 2021.
@@MaximusMerideus It is actually DIN (Deutsche Industrie Norm) and goes back to the early 80's when the all the German car makers, plus electronics firms like Bosch, Blaupunkt, Pioneer et al got together with the Deutsches Institut für Normung (Germany Institute for industrial Norms) and set out to define a common slot for car radios (including common connectors) to make radios compatible to all car brands.

I feel sorry for the poor SOB that Googles “Dodge truck double DIN radio install” and finds out that he needs a chainsaw!
You can always use a sledgehammer if you have no chainsaw. But the install won't have quite the same professional look to it.
DAD!!!?!?!? I need to borrow the chainsaw!!
I feel sorry for the vice
@@operculum nah... if it was junk Andrew would have told us by now. Lol.
Who doesn’t have a chainsaw? ;) I have the minimum required amount, 3, Andrew has enough to create a chainsaw museum. They have so many uses!
If you didn't expect the chainsaw, you haven't been watching long enough. lol
I was like "please, no chainsaw this time" lol
True that.
Radio installs come with a standard Andrew accessibility hole.👍
Still wasn't ready for it... it got an IRL lol out of me!
I was just watching and started thinking, "This is right up there with the chainsaw vid." I had to pause and check out the comments. Cheers.
"Truck got full of plastic somehow" LOL
After ripping the dash out with a chainsaw installing another radio!
And after begging for trucks to be made out of plastic like his 4x...

"I think I can straighten it out with a wrench" - Proceeds to get out a giant two handed wrench of legend
I think that is called a Stilson wrench. My dad had several, most of them he found on the highway because people kept forgetting to take them off the bumper after use. But the one Andrew had there is ginormous.
My forklift is smaller than that thing 🤣
@@markconger8049 If THOR had a wrench, this would be it, LMFAO.
You don't know much about tools or wrenches huh.
I used TWO of those 48" long wrenches when I was a Pipefitter-one to loosen/tighten, the other to as a "hold back" to keep everything else from moving.
“It’s got I don’t know the face plate doesn’t fall off of it that’s what it’s got”😂
I scrolled the comments looking for this, I was going to say same but I knew someone else did already. Classic, Andrew knows his comedy niche and how to use it just right
It's a beautiful thing to live like you haven't any worries at all, and can accomplish so much. Andrew camartara is number one in the world of video.
Cheers to an amazingly capable and completely unflappable guy. I came to see the castle being built and find myself in awe of your ability to tackle pretty much any mechanical task. Kudos!
"A previous owner decided to hack up the wiring..."
Literally right after he used a chainsaw to cut a hole in the dashboard 🤣🤣
The previous owner is watching this video yelling... NO !!!!!!
The difference is that andrew says forget cosmetics, functionality is where it's at. I mean come on did you see his manual blend door? Vents, defroster. All ya need and now mechanical instead of electronic.
You're new here aren't you? He's done it before.
@@johnmarston2527 not new here, it was a joke 🙄
Ha ha! Was going to say the same myself only I was thinking of the next owner " the previous owner decided to hack up the dashboard..." 😂.
"The faceplate doesn't fall off of it thats what its got" comment was legendary!
Now, I have seen nearly the most of your videos and I am always satisfied when you do some repairs and maintenance jobs on your equipment. Very good skilled kind of work. My deepest respect. So as an engineer, i would be more than happy to have a guy like you in my team. Cheers from 🇩🇪👍😎
Andrew you never cease to amaze your followers! Radio installation using a chain saw! Frigin awesome!!!! Cody has great hearing if he can hear a pringles can being opened when he is upstairs.
The moment he said he needed a new radio I started smiling.
Ahhh spoiler alert, I'm at 02:00 ..

I’m saying Crutchfield has a dash kit for that truck for $15 🤣

Those fine adjustments on the truck are what keep it going. Thanks for keeping us awake during the winter hibernation. Can't wait til the Spring projects start.
I remember when he first bought this truck. I also remember what it looked like when he bought this truck. Lol, its now a signature limited edition Camarata Dodge.
"previous owner decides to hack up the wiring"
takes chainsaw to the dash again.
I love this guy.
Came here to comment these exact words ☠️
This man is my spirit animal. Keeps his vehicles going in very simple, effective and unconventional ways...
I love your channel because you are always innovative, informative, inspirational and motivated. No exception when I saw you pull out a chainsaw to use as a precision high tech radio installation tool. However, I was laughing so hard it did almost make me spew my coffee across the room! Absolutely priceless!
The previous owner hacked up the wiring, right after you performed chainsaw surgery to dash. classic Andrew!
I appreciate the fact you can take a chainsaw to your dash to install a radio but still have the decency to vacuum your seats.
He always cleans up after his work.
If I have someone doing work at my house and he does not clean up, he never gets called back.
