I came here to say something like this. He spends the day sitting down and it makes his feet hurt, because his chair is so terrible, sitting in it cuts off the circulation in his legs/ass. the massagers will do literally nothing to improve this situation.
the prompt was "here's $5k and we're gonna film it" and regardless of what you think of the specific upgrades, Dennis stayed within budget (which was fully sponsored btw) and it resulted in a video with almost 9 million views (as of Oct '22). That is absolutely a success in the LMG books

Honestly one of the funniest videos I've watched in ages. There are entire box sets of comedy shows with less humor in them than this.
And the comedy shows have been scripted by people paid to come up with that stuff which apparantly is less funny than real life in Vancouver.

Funnily enough, if you look at the final budget, Dennis only spent ~$200 on the massagers. The actual eye-popping part of the budget is the peripherals - $500 for the speakers and headphones, $600 for the dual monitor setup! Not surprising, considering he does editing work.

@@trs5127 in hindsight a part of me agrees with you, he must certainly be competent at atleast his job (I'm inclined to this especially after watching the tech quickie 1 million sub q and a where he's a lot more mature and seems far more credible), but then a part of me just doesn't care, like with how illogical his choices here are and then how utterly stupid his justifications for the same are like... I'd probably be infuriated regardless of how competent he is at his job of editing (the degree to which that is on me rather than him is ofcourse up for discussion)
