Tbf, some people like that finish. It's more washable and scrubable since it's a higher sheen.
But also, use eggshell, it's better. Trim and backsplash walls (the wall a sink is against) are really the only things that need higher sheens, though maybe the bathroom too

It’s a very mixed relationship. On one hand you get 5000 dollars for new tech and a boss who is nice to work with. On the other hand he just goes around dropping and breaking all the new free stuff you got.
