A bald man walking into a tattoo parlor and requested a tattoo of a rabbit on his bald head.
The tattoo artist asked him “ why would you want a tattoo of a rabbit on your head”?
REPLY: “because from a distance, they look like hairs”…. Boom Boom .

How much German blood to you carry, Bill?
Here's one I heard in Munich. A horse walked up to a bar and ordered a beer, the barman said "why the long face?"

Hi Ray has stated, having tattoos involves puncturing the skin & impregnating ink (which is poisonous in itself) & so i'm extremely curious why people have them?
I'm sure there's many reasons, yet asking around some people I know who have them, some have regrets & have spent a small fortune trying to get them safely removed.
The most common answer I have been given by them is 'I was young & stupid' when I had them.
    Over to you & others?

My answer would have been because I joined the navy when I was young and stupid, but I never regretted having them.

Was it kinda the done thing in the Navy, back then Ray?
A British friend of mine had his wife's initials tattooed on a finger, where a ring would go. They've since divorced & he tells me he's so far paid out £700 Stirling in treatment to remove it. I had no idea how expensive it was, shocked 😳

Yes, a sailor without a tattoo wasn't a real sailor 60 years ago. I had my ex wife's sign, virgo, tattooed. Thankfully it doesn't say anything. For 700, I'd have left it there, we all have a past.

Even 60yrs ago, it seems being a real sailor should have been about the job you do well & not having a tattoo. I wonder how many bucked the trend & didn't have.

I would advise nobody to have a tattoo.
There is now research coming out to say that the ink in the tattoo is creating health issues.

Given that tattooing has been done for centuries, why are these health issues just now showing up.

While there is no direct connection between tattoos and skin cancer, there are some ingredients in tattoo ink that may be linked to cancer. When it comes to cancer, black ink can be especially dangerous because it contains a very high level of benzo(a)pyrene.17 Jul 2018
In inks tested, more than half of the inks contained unlisted polyethylene glycol, which can cause organ damage with repeated exposure, results show. Another 15 inks contained propylene glycol, a potential allergen, researchers said.27 Feb 2024
